I suspected the Tigers hadn't really been playing that well and were due for a loss. Panthers stay 2nd despite their poor form. An interesting comp for competitiveness and closeness but not a great standard in 2010.

I agree with that abit. But I believe the teams under the 4 are the ones to look out for, rather than Tigers and Panthers. Titans, Manly, Rabbits have had a rough patch but will be competitive later on in the season alongside Eels and Warriors despite the Warrior's lose this afternoon. I'm waiting for Panthers to slide and Tigers maybe.

Oh and add Broncos and Roosters to the list of teams playing well

may have been dumb by matai but loved watching his 'pat' on the back. The tigers never seem to have the 3rd man in penalty enforced on them. Few weeks ago there was the mini sinbinning with the farah friend incident. But no action was takenagainst heighington for coming in nor Galloway after his confrontation with perry. Do you actually have to throw punches to be penalised?

No you don't
But some teams get looked after more by the refs..tigers, parra, dragons & titans seem to have things go their way more than others.

What a disgrace by Farrah, week as p!ss.
Matai might be a grub, but this soccer style rubbish of acting is worse.
Low act cat farrah.

I thought Farah was down from falling down and landing on his shoulder / collar bone. But then like a lot of the time the video ref had a look in and put Matai on report for his 'high tackle'

The trainer telling him to stay down and wait for a penalty made it worse.

Farah didn't dive, but it wasn't a penalty either. Dog act by Matai trying to hit his injured shoulder though.

 whoops looks like I upset the Manly Gerald.

Matai is an absolute dog, deal with it.

No denying Matai is a grub, but to suggest he went over to hit an injured shoulder, when it was a blatant pat on the back, albeit with venom. Your suggestion is fairly stupid.

Great stuff. Got me over my doubts for a while. Hodkinson had his best game for a long time.
