Conflicting emotions here. f**king hilarious that the Knights season is now officially over, but at the same time probably a bad result for the Raiders.

It is the same pass that gets let go the other 99 out of 100 times.

So many things went wrong for the Knights today. Stupid penalties, hopeless errors and failed to contain Vatuvei just about every single time. Physically, the winger match-up was extremely lopsided. Uate was never going to handle the Beast by himself yet was left in that position several times. He gave it his best, but on two of the three tries there was no way he was going to stop Vatuvei that close.

Congrats to the Warriors.

Really not a lot Uate could've done against the Dally M Winger of the Year. He'll have his time soon.

Disappointing result, happy with the effort though. I think what took the sting off the loss was knowing that with our remaining games, we really had no chance of making the finals.

We just gave away way too many penalties (along with help from the terrible, Warrior loving refs). Our execution in attack was also way off. We rely way too much on Mullen, and it's going to be something that needs to be addressed.

Oh well. I guess it's back to cheering on those who can ensure the Donkeys drop out of the 8. Thanks for the late glimmer of hope Knights. Now get out there and stuff up a few other team's hopes.

Vatuvei isn't a winger...he's a prop who camps out on the wing. Shouldn't be in contention for winger of the year.

With the NYC comeback from hell win by the Warriors, the club is equal first now in the Club Premiership (IE first grade + NYC tables).

I don't know what you're so happy about. The Warriors win essentially knocked the Raiders out of contention as well.

Raiders are not dead. If (and that's a big if) they win their last three, they move onto 30 points and are a decent chance at making the 8, though a result or two will still have to go their way.

We were dominated in the ruck from the start and offside a lot, really ill disciplined stuff. Combine that with the constant rub of the green that the Warriors get at home and you're in for a tough defensive task. We did manage to be error free though despite not looking that dangerous most times. The loss of Mullen was a big reason for that. Even Uate was outclassed in this one, not his fault though. Vatuvei's team put him in the best positions and he capitalised.

On all the finals talk, it doesn't worry me that we're missing out because we're not premiership material. Knights, Warriors, Raiders would the first few to go in the playoffs anyways.

I'm enjoying this 'Warriors always get the rub of the green in New Zealand' stuff coming out....when in our home games this season we've had 67 penalties and the opposition combined have had 64. Big rub of the green there....

lol - rub of the green. If there was a rub of the green, why didn't they at the very least pick up the forward pass that put Cooper Vuna over for his try?

Maybe because it went backwards ;-) it only looked forward because he was running onto it at full pace.
Anyway the Warriors were the better side and deserved to win, enough said.
BTW, did you happen to know that the Warriors are leading the club championship table (NYC + FG combined)? haha

f**king bullsh*t. That exact pass is thrown every game to put wingers over and it's never called forward.

We've had at least half a dozen tries called back this year for that exact pass. Nice to see it happen to someone else for once. :p

How many of yours were debatable and how many of the oppositions were fundamental? I'd say a lot on both fronts. A well researched statistic but doesn't prove anything. Everyone is going to have their own different opinions on it.
