This could get pretty ugly for the Cowboys. The Raiders will avenge their 16-8 loss earlier in the season in a big way. It'll be a good tune-up for the week after, when they are playing for their season in Brisbane.

If the Raiders are serious and really want to make the finals this will be the biggest scoreline of the season. Raiders by 50.

I agree with this, however I've never seen a team have a greater issue of dealing with complacency than the Raiders so I'm not confident at all.

I hope the Raiders get it done in a big way and Auckland beat Brisbane. I could be wrong but I think that'd mean the winner of the Brisbane/Canberra game the following week gets eighth in the finals.

I can't imagine St George wanting to face either team.

If the Raiders win here, then regardless of the result in the Broncos/Warriors game, the Broncos vs Raiders match will be a playoff for a spot in the 8.

I think this raiders team is switched on , I really dont think complacency will be an issue.

DF will have the boys switched on, we still need to win this to make the 8.

So many permutations as to finals scenarios exist...the Raiders need to first win (probably not going to be a problem), but then really look to go on with it. They could well be back in the 'black' after this week and this could afford them some comfort heading into next week in Brisbane.

I can honestly see the Cowboys getting up in this one. They played some good footy against us before capitulating late last week... and Canberra are renowned for losing to lower teams after beating big ones. And they're inconsistent.

Much tighter game than people are predicting IMO.

your an idiot

You may think he's an idiot, but his logic is correct. The only reason we aren't a top 4 team is because we lose the easy games so often. The Raiders have proved time and time again that they can beat anyone on their day, it's the gimme's that we always drop and this game shapes as a real danger for us.

As for people talking about our for/against, it's really not going to matter. If we win both games, we'll make the 8. If we drop a game, we are gone. Once we are in the 8, it's best for us to finish 8th as that way we get the Dragons (which is best-case scenario for us), so for/against will have no bearing on how far we go this year.

Raiders have been a mentally weak team for over 70% of the year. Than again that was Parramatta last season. If they make the finals I do not doubt they would make an impact but on form I could not take them seriously as a premiership contender as they lack a real weapon at hooker even with Waddell (although he is progressin) and their halves brain fade aall too easily.

But I have enjoyed watching them this season
