Not touching that pathetic bait ink, try something juicier ;-)

Now onto the Roosters. What's doing? WTF was Myles doing? Did Ennis sh*t in his hotel room or something? If the 'Dogs needed any firing up Myles certainly provided it, well done.

Martin Kennedy, you've written yourself into RL folklore. Well done.

Canterbury... Ben Barba, Josh Morris, Steve Turner, Jamal Idris... tryscoring freaks... especially Josh.

Brett Kimmorley, never gave up - a massive effort after getting hammered last week and again early today.

Very impressed with the way everyone marked up in defence and it looked like our move to play more utilities off the bench paid off in attack. PLENTY of second phase play from what I remember and it was good to see the big boys like Hannant, Buddy and Jarrad fire up for the first time this year, they'd been lacking previously.

Souths next week I think will be an entirely different kettle of fish, regardless of how they go against the Sharkies. They're always reasonably gritty affairs against Souths and I can't see the scoreboard getting too much of a workout.

Roosters fans your side was atrocious today, there's no two ways about it. But having watched the Broncos game highlights, you're definitely in with a shot on Friday

Timmah,

Unfair of you to unload on the Roosters .... it was obvious to anyone with half a brain that the Roosters were going to be slaughtered today, there was no way they would be able to back up after last week's conditions in just Round 3 of the season ... another hot, sunny afternoon game, the writing was on the wall as soon as the Bureau of Meteorology said it would be 30 and sunny on Sunday.

The Roosters are a far better team than they showed today, and the Dogs are nowhere near a good a team as some of their fans may think after today's performance. That said, how many teams are as good as a 60-14 result suggests, ever?

P.S. J Moz will be back at the Dragons soon enough ;-)

Correct, the Roosters are far better than today suggested. Every team has off days.

The Bulldogs are nowhere near a good a team as some fans may think after today - I beg to differ. Everything you saw today is what rose us to having the most wins in last years competition and equal comp points with your mob last year.

Your remarks smack of someone looking over their shoulder trying to play down the resurgence of a title competitor. While I don't want to get ahead of myself, the Bulldogs built todays win on solid defence in the first half and actually completing their sets before eventually turning on the flair. If we can maintain similar form over coming weeks we'll be up there with your mob at the business end, just like in '09.

Morris is at Canterbury until at least the end of 2011. Worry about his 2012 destination then. It may very well be he signs another 2 year deal with the 'Dogs and then we see where both brothers want to go in 2013 or 2014 (whenever Brett's is up)

In fact, I find it completely ironic that you, an Eels supporter, is determining a finals spot from early performances.

lol how is it? i didnt say parra r going to make it im focusing on the roosters right now at the moment parra dont deserve to make the finals but this kind of loss for roosters was going to happen sooner or later.

ive said it before a ball was kicked off i dont think roosters will make the finals i think they will finish between 10th and 12th but if they do make it ill be more than happy to say i was wrong, its my opinion get over it

No surprises with the Roosters getting smashed, in their first two games it was blatantly obvious that any team that was willing to run up the middle third would do so easily. Their defence is pathetic in the middle of the field and their scramble around the ruck is amateur at best. They'll be a team that smash teams, or get smashed throughout the year.

On a positive note, at least we won't have to read the papers blowing their loads over the Roosters this week.

Hickey was hopeless today. He is a fat, slow, waste of 2-interchanges and a bench spot and should go back to comedy like his power walking on the footy show (Cracked me up!).

Honestly, he was hopeless and he has now had 3 or 4 years to prove himself. Yet he's still fat, unfit and for a professional athlete I find it unacceptable. He shouldn't be re-signed and Danny Williams needs to take his place on the bench.

I could be wrong but i think Non-Terminator is talking about the fact that you guys were absolutley pathetic for most of last year than with a late season surge you guys went from one of the worst teams in the comp to grand finalists. So you of all people shouldnt be writing off any team from making the 8 ESPECIALLY after two rounds and ESPECIALLY after what the Eels did last year.

JMoz will come home, I have no doubts. Perfect replacement for Cooper in a year or two. The only reason he left in the first place was because Le Gaz dicked him (and the club) around.

I am not doubting that the Bulldogs played well yesterday - all I am doubting is that a performance like that will be repeated. The only reason everything they touched turned to gold was because the Roosters were so poor.

Also, I'm not doubting that the Bulldogs will be closer to the top than the bottom this season.

Why is it that after I simply said the Bulldogs are not a 60 points per game side that you feel the need to tell me that I'm worried the Bulldogs resurgence is upon us?!?

;-)

But when you guys beat us last week it wasnt because we were poor, it was cause you guys were too freaking good, right??

Nope, not saying that either ... we did nothing special against you guys, but you guys were terrible. Likewise, we were pretty crap on Friday night, completed only 76% I think, but the Cowboys were even worse.

We are yet to play a team so far who has actually had a good game against us, so hard to say where we really stand.

But you don't reckon J Moz and Barba will score 7 tries between them every game, right ;) ;)

How did this end up being a thread about the true March premiers, the Dragons?

The Roosters were awful, had the worst run of luck i've seen in years and had 60 points put on them by a side that barely got out of first gear.

The Dogs were solid, but not spectacular.

I could been worse if we came up against a side that was really on song... Could have been anything.

Disagree. I thought the dogs played close to a flawless game. Low error rate, Kimmorley and Roberts took advantage of everything that was in front of them (which was admittedly, nothing)

You didn't say we weren't a 60-point-per-game side, anyone who thinks that is a fool.

How can you call us "true March premiers" with our history of slow starts? Bennett has turned that around (thankfully), but prior to his arrival we were rubbish early season performers year in, year out.
