I can think of a few positives out of this (so far):

1. We didn't lose by 50.
2. We haven't lost anymore players (barely anyone left to lose)
3. Lockyer will retire from rep (atleast.. he better)
4. I was able to think of 3 other positives, that's pretty good?

I'm incredibly unhappy with it. So I cannot imagine how you Broncos fans are feeling. Chin up, and best of luck for the year.

Congrats on the two points Chooks. Not the best performance by your side, but to escape with a great result like that is never a bad thing.

Thought the Roosters would go on with a big score like they did in the first two rounds but they never really clicked. Looked promising at times in attack though. Defence still looks suspect but Broncos hardly tested it. Broncos did look better in defence but again Roosters let them off at times.

Yeah, kudos Roosters. I wouldn't be pleased with the performance either if I were you, but the potential is there for you guys to do well this year.

As for us? Who knows. I'm beyond hoping for wins at this stage; if we avoid embarassment next Friday I won't have too many complaints.

Just got bored and thought why not... weird play haha

 Probably thought the practice would come in handy against real opposition I suppose.

Taking random field goals seems to be the in thing this year. I think it's a good thing to do.

Well wasnt that a piss poor game of football. Not a patch on the brilliance served up by the Storm and Dragons earlier in the day.

The Roosters and Broncos were both highly nervous and in the end it came down to which team could do enough to get past an opposition team that were lying flat on the floor in a pile of their own vomit.

The Roosters managed a period in the first half of about 15 minutes where they finally got enough confidence to put consecutive sets together and the Broncos couldnt lift their heads up and choked where they lay.

In the second half the Roosters were more nervous than a 13 year old hill billy on her wedding day, but thankfully the Broncos were virtually flatlining in attack.

By the 60th minute mark, the hill billy bride looked to have skulled 15 bottles of JD and was wobbling around inviting all and sundry to f**k her up the arse, but the Broncos failed to get a wood on and eventually Mini milked a penalty, Carney made another break and it was all over.

Thank goodness for Todd Carney. On a day when few stood up, he was head and shoulders above.

The Broncos have real problems. A road trip to Woolongong next week and they havent even though about their mid season Origin slump yet. f**k.

Why would anyone feel sorry for the Broncs? Theyve had an amazing run, havent missed the finals in about 18 years and are generally dicks. Would love them to finally have a truely sh*thouse season, every other club has!

Geez Lockyer looked wrecked post game. Surely he is retiring from the rep stuff (maybe play the Aus game as a farewell?) he just looks shot at the moment.

He isnt the player he was a few years ago, but Qld will definately miss him in origin. He adds a huge amount of calmness to the side and settles them down, could see them imploding if things start to go wrong this year (although they kind of did in the last game last year).
