Huge game. Word on the street is that Galloway is unlikely to play - this will make it a tougher ask for the Tigers as I question the depth - we are still short on quality props.

Hoping both Benji and Thurston are on song - will make for great viewing.

Thats true, but the Cowboys will be a much tougher ask than an out of for Canberra too, and they had a big lead on you until the last 20 or so.

should be a cracker.

Tigers have had a pretty tough month, short turn arounds and road trips, may just catch up with them this weekend.Where i see the tigers as a much better proposition for the end of season games than the Cowboys, I think the cowboys might win this match fairly well. Although if the Tigers turn up and switched on for 80 minutes the score could be anything but history tell me that the tigers struggle in the tropics.

L.O.D isn't as quick as he used to be and always runs slightly to the left as one hamstring is slightly shorter than the other now :)

Probably my most anticipated game of the year. I don't really expect it to be a close game though, one team might run away with it. If Fitzhenry runs on at centre or wing expect Tonga to tear him apart. Can't wait.

Keith Galloway out, Blake Ayshford out.

Andrew Voss claims Jason Cayless will come into the side.
Daily Telegraph claims that Ryan will move to centre, Fitzhenry to the Wing, Tuqiri to Fullback.

Hmm.

I thought the mail was that Ayshford was going to play.

If the Telegraph is right Cowboys are looking good.

"AYSHFORD STILL A CHANCE TO PLAY AGAINST COWBOYS
9/04/2010 9:59:41 AM
Wests Tigers centre Blake Ayshford remains a chance to play against the North Queensland Cowboys at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday night in round five of the Telstra Premiership.

Ayshford suffered a strained right knee in the dying seconds of the win over Canberra last Sunday. He was named in the team by coach Tim Sheens on Tuesday after undergoing scans.

“Blake trained well with the team on Thursday night. It is now a case of seeing how Blake recovers,’’ said Wests Tigers Football Operations Manager Alan Mair.

“If he is to right to play, he will take his spot in the team. If not, Geoff Daniela will replace him.”

Mair also said prop Junior Moors has travelled to North Queensland in replace of the injured Keith Galloway. Sheens is yet to decide who will replace Galloway in the starting side.

Prop Jason Cayless was not considered due to injury (boil on his groin)."

Also apparently the word is Gareth Ellis has been ruled out. The general consensus is that Jason Schirnack will come into the side to replace him. Very hard to pick the Tigers without KG and Ellis.

With the Tigers' injuries and their poor record up at DFS, I'm going to pick the Cowboys, but it will be close.

Cowboys 32
Tigers 22
