Shillington was outstanding. Made plenty of metres, hit hard in defence, he's been great this year.

Oh and by the way, Queensland and Australian representative. That's what you let go so you could keep Mason and O'Meley... Where are they now?

I thought shillo played well in a beaten side tonight. Certainly was hitting with some starch and made good metres.

To be honest the general hitting by both sides tonight was top notch. Absolutely bashed each other.

hey Skeepe have you actually given the roosters any credit or is all about how bad you played the decisions that apparently went against you?

The Roosters were really intense in defence. That is where they beat us. Eel supporters living vicariously through Roosters supporters to know what it feels like to beat the Raiders in 2010.

Shillington has been really good for the Raiders this year. He was a bit soft at times last year but he has been playing with a bit of mongrel lately.

I thought Dugan was brave in a team that was hopelessly outclassed.. Shillingtons dog act on JWH will see him do a nice stint on the sidelines..

It was similar to Kite's tackle a few weeks back. Swinging arm right into the face of the ball runner.

He'll get 1-2 weeks max IMO, particularly with a test coming up. I'm sure they'll want to select him.

Roosters should have won by more.

Our halves are diabolical sometimes and that includes Campese. However backing up after monday night another away game we were always going to be a bit flat.

The bitter eels fans in this thread are pathetic.

We bombed one try, were disallowed a fair try, and were sloppy for a large part of the second half. So yes, should have won by more.

We played well and Canberra looked like they didn't want to be there. Had to laugh at Belchers comment in the first half was a classic. "Hang on im getting excited. Canberra just completed a set."

Not happy with the second half with the way we dropped off and played some sloppy football.

I don't know why, but I just read this whole thread now (I was one of the many Raiders fans at the game on Saturday night, great turnout I thought, but that's not my point).

Honestly, you and El Diablo have absolutely embarrassed yourselves in this thread. I can't believe you took last Monday's loss so hard. It was painful reading your posts throughout this thread and thinking that your entire Saturday night consisted of hoping the team that beat you last week get's beaten this week. All I can say is that I'm sorry for you.
