Always a game I look forward to, though the matches across the ditch are usually pretty dour.

I think at home we can pick up the two, but it won't be pretty at all.

Hard game. Both teams cost me tipping points last weekend & I can't split them really.
Warriors by 2 based on Faders poor away record in general...

its true.both teams suck.
but raiders have been doing horrible and i think warriors may have a chance when their key players come back.
they also have their captain micheal luck back so hopefully he can bring some "luck" back for the warriors.
Warriors by 12.

I don't know about this really. I don't think Canberra has won here since R1, 2001, and we even beat them last year at home.

But I can see Canberra ripping us up.

the 80 minutes we played against canberra at mt smart last year were pretty much the only enjoyable 80 minutes of the whole year.

it was like a one off special, take the blinkers off, play attacking football and look what happened. don't know why we decided to only do it once all year.

ABC Grandstand A triple blow for the Raiders ahead of Saturday's match against the NZ Warriors. Captain Allan Tongue, utility back Adam Mogg and forward Shaun Fensom have all succumbed to injury and will miss the round-8 clash in Auckland.

Yep missed him, and side is revised again.
The Canberra Raiders have been forced to make four late changes for their match against the Warriors on Saturday, with Adam Mogg (calf), Alan Tongue (groin), Josh Miller (shoulder) and Shaun Fensom (back) all ruled out through injury.

The loss of the four regular NRL stars has seen a reshuffle of the Raiders line-up, with Josh McCrone returning from a groin injury to play halfback, Travis Waddell back from his broken jaw to move on to the bench, Troy Thompson back in the side on the bench, while Sam Mataroa will make his NRL debut from the bench.

The inclusions of Troy Thompson, Waddell and Mataora sees Glen Buttriss move into the starting side at hooker, with Trevor Thurling set to start the match at lock for the Raiders.

Marc Herbert has traveled with the team, but at this stage will remain 18th man.

Raiders Coach David Furner said the injury toll at the Raiders is frustrating at the moment, but he expects it to only be a short term problem.

“We only wanted to take players to New Zealand who were 100 per cent fit and ready to go,” Furner said. “It is annoying to lose so many front line players from the team but we’re confident the boys we’ve brought in can do the job.

“We have the bye next week and will welcome it with our injury toll at the moment and should have a near full squad available after the bye week.”

The Raiders departed for New Zealand on Thursday morning and will have one session in New Zealand on Friday afternoon.

Actually think the team looks much more dangerous with Tongue not at hooker.

Fensom is the biggest loss out of all of them. Rate the kid highly and he hasn't put a foot wrong since breaking into first grade.
