An interesting list, far more accurate than the Rolling Stone guitar list.

Of course I forgot to mention in the other thread the great Terry Bozzio, Gene Hoglan from Strapping Young Lad, Nick Barker from Dimmu Borgir and Chad Wackerman.

There are still some ridiculous inclusions but it appears that at least this time a few DRUMMERS were included in compiling the list, as well as a few idiots who felt compelled to add Dave Grohl and Chad Smith.

Vinnie should be No.1 by a mile but then he's not quite as well known as a rock drummer as he is a jazz dude.

sorry but that list is a joke

any list with Charlie Watts in the top 100 is not serious

my kids are better than him

Flo really should be there, but as usual metal is excluded.

That's where I have a problem with most of these lists - if they're going to be an accurate reflection of musicians around the world they should take every genre of music into account. Instead they lean massively towards pop influence.

Any list with Alex Van Halen is an even bigger joke.

My granny's poon produce more creative music than him.

Charlie Watts is a Swing Music inspired drummer.

His role is to keep the beat.

Roger Taylor and Lars Ulrich should have a fair bit higher in my opinion.

Moreso Taylor, his live solo's in the middle of "Keep Yourself Alive", especially in the Live In Rio gig, where his solo went for 5 or 10 minutes I think, and included a section where he moved from his drum kit to a set of huge kettle drums from memory, and then back again was truly unbelievable.

Crap list, some good mentions but a pile of stinking imo.

Charlie Benante an honorable mention? What a joke.
