100 Super League Tries

Has anybody on this forum watched this video yet?

I need to ask if a certain try is on there.

2000 Wigan V Cas @ JJB - Jason Flowers scored a try that was set up by either Dale Fritz or Andrew Purcell.
From about 60 out Fritz made a long run and came to the fullback and got away a reverse flick pass around the BACK of Radlinski for Flowers to score.
Can anybody confirm if this try is on there? Probably one of the best tries I have seen. (Fritz's pass was unbelievable)

Haven't seen the tape. Do you know if it's a recent release, or a few years on?

Can't confirm whether that Try is on the tape, but I know which try your on about.

The DVD isn't released until June. All I know is that Chris Joynt's try against Bradford in the 2000 semi final series came top.

I also reckon Carney must be up there (presumably with one of those semi final tries v Leeds in 2003) as that must have been the reason he was at Knowsley Road whan Millward saw him and flipped.

If it really is only 45 minutes long then I wouldn't bother. Especially if the quality of Sky's "Super Tries" Programme every Xmas is an indication of the quality.

But when mine arrives I'll post on here what it's like if I remember.

In UK it's being released June 3, and promoted for fathers day (celebrated on different date to Oz). Ads for it in magazines now... "Super League Super Tries", over 150 tries.

Just lists a phone number to order... +44 0870 420 8165 (+=0011 or whatever you int'l call-out is). So from Oz you're probably best through online re-sellers, but you'll miss out on copies signed by Mike Stevenson and Brian Carney :lol:
