I think the Dragons are due a real big performance where they open the floodgates a bit but the Tigers will get a couple of late consolation tries and bounce back the week after and handsomely beat their next opponents.

Utai has been surprisingly good for the Tigers this year - errors, yes, but plenty of hard work and strong runs. He's not the complete liability I expected!

Agree.
Good to see him not give up after losing his spot at the dogs, even after he spent some time in the lower grades there.
One of the few doggies to win titles in flegg, reserves and nrl level.

Is he contracted for next year?
He has certainly taken what may have been his last legitimate opportunity and made the most of it.

On the game itself - Saints by 20

Hopefully the Tigers will win. But preferably, this time, I hope the last 2 minutes don't go for 15 minutes.

Imagine if the refs played the whistle like that all game this time. Could be a 4 hour game.

Nothing sorted at the moment I believe.

I took 3 of my nieces to Leichhardt for the first time in round 2 and we happened to be sitting near Utais' partner and she was really nice to the kids - really made their night (along with a win, treats from Ashfield leagues in the form of flags for the 3 of them and the fact it poured down for hours before and after the game - It was the night of the flooding in large parts of Sydney.)
Galloways parents were on the other side of us as well - and isn't Keith a carbon copy?!

If we go out with the same team as the Panthers game, I think Saints by 8. Young should start ahead of Prior and Rein must start ahead of Fien. I would also like to see the Dragons second phase play that was prominent in the Panthers game, continue against the Tigers. It showed Saints can be just as hard to handle when they keep the ball alive as some of the more fancied attacking teams. Whoever loses, I just hope both will play on the next week.

Previous finals matches between these 2 suggest a close one...I think tigers will win easily though. They're traveling very well at the right time
