Great half of footy. Pearce has been very good, his work in the two plays leading up to the first try was excellent. Kicking game keeps going straight to Boyd/Slater/Yow Yeh tho, apart from one Pearce kick turning them around and one Soward kick bouncing before them.

NSW forwards have aimed up pretty nicely. Uate is awesome, Minichello has been pretty damn good. Hayne quiet but doing his job, Hopate excellent.

Should be a good second half. Any word on whats wrong with Petro?

Bit hard to avoid kicking it to them when the three of them are sitting back there splitting the field waiting for them. Maybe try a shorter attacking kick?

Gallen has been the best player on the field - I've been critical of him of the past but this is the type of game I like seeing him play.

Pearce has also been playing quite well, same with Lewis.

Queensland still have the class players, but the Blues could catch them on the hop here.
