Assuming both Hannant and Hodges don't play, I don't think we will have the experience to win this one.
That said, it's pretty much last years team minus Folau. So who knows.

We better get use to it though, because odds are those 2 will miss plenty more weeks this year.

NRL Previews - Broncos v Cowboys (Round 1)

Must be a welcome distraction to have Rugby League back in Queensland after the summer they have had. It must also be a welcome distraction for the Broncos to play football rather than worrying about who their coach for 2011 would be. So, with everyone is joyous rapture to be playing footy again, allow me to take this opportunity to say how happy I am that future Immortal Darren Lockyer is going round again. Speaking of Lockyer, reports suggest he is fitter than ever and this can only be dangerous for the Cowboys.

To win, the visitors will need Aaron Payne to find his form from a few years ago, they’ll need Ray Thompson to play beyond his years in support of Johnathan Thurston and they will need to match the speed and enthusiasm of a Broncos backline whose average age must be around 14 (statistic not official). Until the Cowboys prove otherwise, punters will doubt they can do any of the above.

My Tip: Broncos 24-18

My computers screen is broken, Im reading Bani and Graham are in instead of Winterstein and Fai-Fai Loa.

Obviously a gee-up.

Winterstein is out injured.

Fai Fai Loa is an odd one, would of had him in my side personally but Henry is obviously looking towards the long term for him.

Finally, Rugby League has come back to Suncorp and what a way to welcome it back with one of the biggest drawing games in the calender year, Brisbane vs. North Queensland in a game that I believe will come down to the wire.

I've gone the Broncos here, they seem to enjoy this stage to prove themselves at this time of the season and with so many attacking weapons in their side I believe they'll end up winners by no more than six in a high scoring game.

North Queensland will take awhile to find their rhythmn but once they do they're going to be hard to stop. I'm just under the impression that Rome wasn't built in a day.
