Great performance by the Bulldogs. Excellent defensively. Tolman is a BEAST.

I'm 6/8 in tipping so it's all good :)

Promising performance from the Dogs, I was supposed to post earlier that I enjoyed the formation of their side, in particular their pack which included two relatively inexperienced players, but still familiar players in Kasiano and Foster getting a start ahead of some of the new faces at the club. I felt those pre-existing combos were important tonight and would love to see more Canterbury juniors make a real fist of things in first grade.

Tigers showed glimpses but were off their game, a bit of tinkering will do them the world of good. Benji showed some magic, but also showed his complancency.

I ended up 5/8 in the tips - Broncos woeful performance, Warriors losing Manu + Fish being a disappointment (I thought Parra would impress in Round 1, but not to the point of victory) and I think I went Sea Eagles after a coin flip...all cost me.

A very good start to the season, i was really impressed by Hodkinson and his kicking game, had them on the back foot the whole game. Corey Payne was a surprise, he was impressive and always looked threatening with the ball in hand.

Good to get off to a winning start and get 6/8 in tipping.

Dogs were decent, wests were terrible. Our attack was completely disjointed and the forwards got steam rolled. I actually thought Lui was good but held the ball a bit long on two occasions that could have lead to tries.

Farah was terrible, benji was poor apart from his good try.

Very disappointing start to the year, however confident we'll come good.

I guarantee you next week he will be back to his rubbish self; only the Tigers could make this guy look like a good player, he is terrible.

We were very flat tonight, Dogs wanted it more and their defence was excellent I must say, even though our attack was disjointed.

I also think Lui played well; and Moltzen should be nowhere near FG at the moment, especially not at fullback. Needs to get fit again via State Cup because playing 10 minutes at the end of a game isn't going to give him the match fitness he needs.

Kasiano looked very good on debut for the Dogs, made some huge runs, and got some good offloads away. If he cuts the cheap errors out of his game (dropped a few balls under no pressure), and he'll be a star for the Dogs, very promising debut.

The kid is a monster. The dropped balls and concentration is expected. can't wait to see him with 10-15 under his belt.

20 hitups, 179 metres and 43 tackles. Little Aiden Tolman! Money well spent.
This bloke is a machine.

Your doing alright when you can have as sh*te of a game as benji did and still end up with two try assists and an awesome solo try

Dogs deserved the win, just wanted it more.

I suppose I can just take solace from the fact that we were terrible yet still only lost 4 tries to 3.
