I feel there's something terribly wrong at cronulla. Its not a coaching or player problem but something deeper. Every time they go out to play its like a dark cloud hanging over them.

Sure we beat the sharks, but the improvement is in our handling and completion.. Plus we actually beat a team when we were a hot favorite!

Sharks were pretty bad but we looked really good. Smashed their pack to pieces which is fairly well rated and Williams and McCrone really played well in the halves. The backline was fantastic.

We looked likely to score with the field position we had which was a massive change from last year. Really positive performance.

Definitely a bit of both. Last year we would suck with the last tackle options, even though we knew the plan of bomb Monaghan/Vidot, our kicks never found the mark. Today all of Williams bombs had potential for tries.

After a strong opening, Sharks became their own worst enemies. Inept is the only word to describe them. Calling their backs geniuss is an insult to the mentally disabled. Best and Wright have to be the worst winger centre combo in the comp. Ferguson embarrassed them every time the ball went up in the air.

Their halves had some ok moments and should hopefully improve as the season goes on. There were a few classy backline moves.

Canberra on the other hand were very good especially considering their injuries. Both halves were dangerous all game, excellent debut by Williams.

In fairness to Sharks supporters lets pretend if Dugan went to the Roosters after saying he wanted to win a premiership I would have been so angry I would have probably started a series of arson attacks in around the Bondi area.
