I could see Badger kept looking over his shoulder at the crowd, and then saw a bottle land on the grass behind the dead ball line.

Yeah very strange to delay the game that long. Channel 9 gained nothing by it. Unless they were worried about people checking the score then deciding not to watch.

Pretty much. Two ways they could've gone, I think they've tried to achieve a balance - they can run it at 7:30 NZ, which is 5:30 NZ. The game is then completely over before it's telecast regardless of which state takes it first.

They other way would be to delay it til 9:30 NZ (definitely too late) which would bring it live into QLD and only 2 hr delay as normal into NSW.

8:30 probably makes some sense, scheduling Warriors games on FNF is a bitch.

Gould was giving it to the refs saying the Titans were barely onside all night... the ironic thing was it was the Warriors who got called for being offside after all that. One of the penalties just looked weird... Mateo drops the ball, a Warriors player trailing through from behind him picks it up, surely a scrum? Nope, its a penalty. Did I miss something there? Toopi coincidentally celebrated his 150th game by playing exactly as he has for the past 50-60 first grade games... like a cheap C grade thug who's only play is to play like a Greg Bird-esque douche in the ruck.

i can see why cleary did that. johnson was looking knackered, and thus his defense turned into shirt-grabbing and missing. cleary brought him back on though. i was sitting right on the 20m line (warrior's second half end) and i remember thinking about 5 mins before johnson got benched, 'the tits are gonna score through him soon.'
