I thought his kicking game was fairly reasonable, just not enough variation.

It was his general play that let him down, didn't challenge the line enough and didn't play direct.

I thought all the halves were fairly poor though, that was one of Lockyer's worse games in awhile.

Agree which is why I raised an eyebrow when reading the Home Page of LU which had the heading 'Lockyer stars in..." re: Friday night's win.
