Good luck to him and the Sharks fan if they dare rejoice in this brilliant win over their bitter rivals. I won't bergudge them their moment, lord knows they deserve SOMETHING. If you think you have it tough as a rugby league supporter, step in to the shoes of a life long Cronulla fan.

A very well deserved win to a more determined side. I am glad to see some life back into the local derby.

Cronulla held on to the pill in the wet, we didn't. Everything else flowed from that. They thorughly deserved to win, and the scoreline in no way reflects the difference between the two teams on the night.

I'm ropable with the way Saints approached this game. The players looked like they expected to turn up and win. We didn't look interested until about the 60 minute mark, by which point we were chasing the game. Has any one weekend of football ever rammed home the point so forcefully that if you don't respect your supposedly inferior opponent, you'll get your arse handed to you?

I backed the sharkies on a 1-12 win and it paid haha!! Unfortunately i only played $10 lol.

The sharks played very basic but that suited them well, there inexperienced halves did not have to play too much with the team using the forwards up the middle. Great tactic and they stuck through!

Also jermey smith... Wow.. This bloke has really come a long way the past few years, his defensive work was incredible, he is up there for buy of the year IMO.

scoreline flattered the Dragons , the Sharks forwards smashed them .

They did smash us, and they deserved to win.
Scoreline kind of shows the attitude of our boys though, they keep trying and have a go until the 80th minute.

Congrats to the Sharks, clearly the better side, and we were right off our game.
I'm worried about the Warriors game next week now after such a tough game in tough conditions.

Dragons have scored 6 tries this year and 5 have been from kicks, their attack looks very disjointed

You're forgetting the WCC. In any case, it's pretty easy for your attack to look disjointed when you drop the ball so many times in your own half. It didn't look disjointed against the titans, every time we made it up their end of the field we scored.

Sharks played really well and thoroughly deserved the win. Hopefully this game knocks out any complacency that we may have had. We just didn't respect the ball in terrible conditions, losing Weyman less than 20 minutes in with a very heavy track certainly didn't help either, Fien also played a minimal part in the game due to the conditions and his ankle as well.

Good game Sharks, you completely outplayed us. I hope you can take something from that performance and keep it up through the season... If your forwards play like that every game you'll win more than you lose, irrespective of the weaknesses in your backline.

Congratulations to the Sharks and their supporters. Thoroughly deserved to win the match. Keeping up that kind of form and energy will see you play the finals this year. As for Saints, work hard, play for each other and catch the ball. We'll be right.

Unless they are Souffs...

As for us scoring off kicks, there's a world of difference between hit-and-hope bombs and the precise kicks Soward has put in for Cregah, Boyd (the non-dodgy one), and Nightingale (not to mention Gasnier in the GF).

It was bloody hard to watch last night (plenty of swearing on my part) but Sharks were just too tough, too committed and played the conditions too well.

A fantastic effort, our boys just could not match their physicality and paid the price.

Well played

Good win to the Sharks.

Well deserved.

Bad luck Saints, we had to lose one sooner or later and I still think everyone was putting in against a determined Sharkies outfit. Sloppy ball control killed us.

Losing a solid forward in Weyman early on certainly didn't help but is not the reason we lost.

All those wet Shark Park games seem to be paying off for the Sharks cos that seemed to give them an edge as well. They were hard at it all game.
