Storm score a deserving try.

Get ready for the comeback guys. Storm only down by 2 tries, plenty of time to go, and a bit of "how's trent" action will ensure they get the lion's share of penalties from here till full time.

why was it a penalty if it wasn't on report?

dodgy refs

Exactly. It can't be.

The ruling by the refs just then was incorrect under the laws of the game. The video referee can only tip the on field officials to an incident if it is a reportable offence. Seriously, you'd struggle to find a penalty in that under the mini/mod Safeplay Code, let alone the NRL.

What makes it worse is that Horo was on his way up to play the ball, and the referees actually told him to stay down!

Serious, serious questions need to be asked about this refereeing performance.

Still going on with that?
That was one of the best (legal) hits you will ever see.

interesting....

how do you explain multiple people (Morley and Pritchard to name 2) getting suspended for several weeks by commiting identical tackles?

An exact replica of the hit by Boyd on Stewart that was penalised and placed on report. A bit of consistency for once.

Except Slater should have been placed on report. Doesn't matter either way, if he didn't hit high there couldn't be a penalty and thats not why we're losing.

A high tackle? Are they serious?!?!??!

this is a f**king joke.

The on-field refs asked the video ref to check it.

Show many any two tackles ever that have been identical.

How do you explain that everybody in the world bar Roosters support agree that is wasn't a penalty?

I thought I heard the commentators say he was placed on report. Ah well, here comes the choke by the Eels. Serves them right for going for the boring 2 points on 3 occasions (dirty thieving bastards, we have that trademarked and copyrighted!). :p

Good to see Skeepes back to his old self after his little slip up yesterday in praising the refs for once in his life.
