No nerve was hit, just putting in the banter that you put out. ;-)
Banter? I was stating an opinion far removed from "banter". Sometimes hard hitting truths hurt hence the reaction I received. Moving on...
]Ugly game though the Broncos deserve applause for winning this against a team who had the bulk weight of posession. What a defensive showing from the Broncos! The hapless Titans reminded of one of their four failed teams last night - they looked lost. For all their posession they scored a try off one piece of individual brilliance by Michaels, outside that, as I've said before, the Cartwright coached team lacked a Plan B. How long before the locals turn on Mr Teflon? It will be sooner rather than later I feel.
Disappointing crowd for a derby as big as this. As I asked earlier in the week, is the bubble about to burst on the Gold Coast? Not selling out a Friday night game against your bitter rivals in the Broncos tells me it's a question that deserves asking no matter how many one eyed Titans fans protest.
The Broncos will be disappointed in the way they turned over posession, their handling was poor. With that said, they played below their best and won. Their game is built on their defence in 2011 and when their attack comes together, the Broncos might just be a top four team at the back end of the season.
