Notables:

Gower looks the goods, Cuthbo was good, Merrin and Hunt unstoppable.

Prior seems to have something on his mind, really inneffective in the teackles in those last 20 minutes or so (even though he had a good first half).

NZ commentators are still really hard to handle.

They're not a commentators arsehole.

I would argue that this side is playing worse than the 2003 debacle. There is absolutely no structure or rhythm to their game. The props aren't hitting up well, dummy halves clearance of the ruck is poor, the fullbacks positioning is dreadful, backrowers don't run good lines, halves look completey disorganised. Mateo is a clear example, I thought he played well in the second half and tto put in, but absolutely no one is running off his shoulder looking for a chance.

I'd be changing the fullback, the halfback, and the hooker for a start. I'd be asking the props to man up and have a go. And if I was Eric Watson, I'd be looking to do a fly-by like he did in 2003 when Anderson went. I don't mind if we get beat and you look like there's a plan, but there's nothing. The Warriors could only dream of seem of the simple plays the Dragons put on. I'd be looking at Brian McClennan.

Do you mean 2004?

I think hooker is almost the only position I could leave.

The warriors won't win till Vatuvai comes back. It's a sad state of affairs when your most important player is a winger.

The dragons certainly don't look like the team they were last year.

Would that be because the pack that took the field today to start the game, had 1 bloke in the starting pack from the GF? Ben Creagh was the only starting forward from the GF to start today.
Weyman, Scott, Young, Smith & Costigan not there or moved on. Saffy from the bench has moved on.

Great effort from our pack today, a young and inexperienced pack by 1st grade standard.

Now MG can stick his one Gower who plays cricket right up his jaxie. He will only get better as his class in lower grades was always going to transfer to the NRL

Why hook Moon after 20 mins ??...what sort of message did this send to the rest of the team when Cleary had no faith in his centre ??. Fair enough is he was injured but he did not look it ??.

Maloney is too inconsistent and rushes his plays. He needs to relax and look for options IMO.

Kevin Locke looked unconfident and Dragons targetted him the whole game.

As for the forwards...Mannering does not lead from the front and is too quiet for my liking.

Mateo does not add a lot either.

Warriors can turn it around but they have got to have some ticker.
