If I ever see Matt Checchin on the street I will f**k him up royally. The merkin single-handedly got the Knights over the line with his disgusting calls, especially the phantom knock on against McCrone. He singlehandedly changed the game and he is the only reason the Knights left with a completely undeserved win.

f**k you Checchin, you f**king merkin. I wish you all the misfortune in the world you miserable lowlife f**k.

mmmmm your tears taste so good :lol:

i guess you missed the first half how every call went canberra's way? including that "forward pass" that should've been a try to mcmanus?

1 win out of 7, and 6 losses in a row has nothing to do with the referee :lol::lol:

Actually you weren't. The referee carried you on his back with his disgracefully incompetent performance.

Has anyone else considered refs give other teams the game so they can come on here afterwards to read Skeepe's reaction? It's brilliant :D

Don't forget the Mullen "knock-on" stupid refs aye Skeepe, bloody useless.

:D

Should I mention the high shot on Miller that, if called as it would have been in any other situation in any other game in any other round but wasn't because it would have given the Raiders a gift 2 points when scores are level?

Or maybe I should talk about Akuila Uate being permitted to pass off the ground?

It's quite heart-warming that I've been mentioned or thought of so often.

I think there's been more posts wondering where I am or what I'm thinking than there have been posts made by me in this thread.

For the record, for all those who were clearly so concerned, I was taking a family trip to Sydney and only watched the game this afternoon. Thanks for caring LU.

Or you could jump Tongue when you see him instead of Cecchin for literally dropping the game for your mob

Skeepe's good value and if he does troll occasionally - he does it better than anyone. I'd take him as a regular poster in our forum over some of the plonkers who think Gidley is a man you build your team around because he's got guts and that's about all.

Amazing to pick up a win in Canberra but you lot digging into the Raiders ought to watch out - they're still our bogey side so there will be plenty of losses in years to come down at Canberra. They are missing campese immensely - he is their only first grade quality half and an origin quality one at that.

Chin up Raiders fans - i remember 2005 for us and the only thing that got me through that awful season was a bit of faith and refraining from abusing the players - it was what the supporter group the crusade was born out of. You have about 908 times the talent we had in that team so you'll turn it around sooner then we did. We won 8 of our last 10 from memory.

Wayne hasn't been able to make Canberra our bitches, what makes you think he can do it for you?

Oh and skeepe - did I just read you say the ball came off McCrone's head? If so, then it is a knock on and the ref got it dead right.

The incident I'm referring to there came in the first half, not the incident where Sau dropped the ball cold and a try was disgracefully disallowed for no reason other than Canberra would have scored it.

The ball was passed backward and hit McCrone in the face. The referee ruled it a knock-on. Hardly "heading the ball in a forward direction" as stipulated in the rules, is it? The reading of the rule indicates that there must be some intent to the act, much like it's alright to juggle a ball in a forward direction trying to catch it but you can't deliberately tap it forward and regather.

Skeepe, have you ever thought about becoming a referee?

p.s. McCrone was only in the clear because the ref blew the play up straight away and the Knights players stopped. He would not have scored if the play had gone on, but you would have had a good chance off the ensuing play.

Forward out of the hands. If it hadn't have been forward the try would have been awarded. Pretty simple really.
If McCrone didn't knock the ball on, the referee wouldn't have given the Knights the scrum feed. Pretty simple really.
