Now I think we have a good chance of winning at least 6 of the next 9 considering how much easier our next few opponents are.
And this is why people lol@50uff$

Which are the 6 games you are going to win out of your next 9?

Tigers H, Warriors A, Panthers A, Storm H, Titans H, Broncos H(Perth), Sharks A, Sea Eagles A, Roosters H.

Well they have the SHarks again, so that's one...

It has proven why we will make the 8. Beating a team whose style excels in this sort of conditions shows what we're capable of. Wet weather footy is perfect for a team with no backline. We usually excel with the fancy stuff that doesn't work in the wet.

We absolutely manhandled their pack, the pack that so many fools were saying was better than ours.

Before this match I looked at our schedule and said, our first 7 weeks worth of opponents had the 2nd highest win total of any teams opponents except the roosters.

So except for Easts, we've had the hardest start to the season. And we were in all but 1 of those games. Now I think we have a good chance of winning at least 6 of the next 9 considering how much easier our next few opponents are.

Sandow was on fire tonight, the 2nd week in a row he's been the best player on the park. This year for the first time I can see a #7 who is good enough to be the #7 of a premiership winning team.

Sutton wasn't as shit as usual.

Dave Taylor has completely turned it around.

We will be in the top 8. We will win the 2011 premiership.
You beat the Sharks and you think you will make the top 8? 50uffs are still 2nd last on the ladder last time I checked.

Easy wins
Warriors, Panthers, Titans, Sharks, Roosters

50/50 games
Tigers, Sea Eagles

Unlikely Wins
Storm, Brisbane

I'm certain we'll win 5 of them, and 1 of those 50/50 ones. That's 6/9.

You do realise when you win a game you get competition points... as of now we're 10th. Next week we'll get another 2 points with the bye. We won't be 2nd last again for all of this year.
Proud of baiting a troll?
Congrats.

Credit where it is due. Souths were very impressive from the time of the penalty against Roberts (which was bs) onwards. Still haven't seen an 80 minute effort from them, but better to play the last 50 than the first 50 and then clock off. Even Sutton had some good touches (2 try assists and a 40/20), and Sandow showed what he is capable of when he concentrates on playing instead of going for stupid shoulder charges all the time. Souths are idiots if they don't try and keep him.

Pleasing to see Inglis get the ball a fair bit. Some games this year it has looked like Souths game plan has been to get the ball as far away from Inglis as possible. When you have an attacking weapon like inglis, you have to use him. Some good runs from Taylor as well, but geez I'd love to see him playing as a forward every now and then. He would help Souths immensely if he'd roll his sleeves up and do a bit of dirty work in addition to his wide running.

How can we play 80 minutes when we are being put through a rigorous warm up for 30 minutes before the game even starts. Ridiculous Lang, get a clue!

There's no such thing as an easy win for a team that can't control a game. We could lose any of those games, and we could win any of them

I mean really? Warriors and Roosters an easy win? Don't get ahead of yourself, we haven't been in a game against the Roosters since early 09

The Panthers were semi-competitive with the Warriors (in NZ) today. IMO the Warriors are extraordinarily overrated.

The Roosters got beaten easily by another awful team. They haven't been this crap since 09.

I put both those teams in the same category as the Sharks. Easy beats if we play to our ability.

Forgetting your round 1 result, no doubt.
We were terrible for almost the entire game and still got to one kickoff regather away from winning. Since then we and especially blokes Taylor and Inglis and Sandow have improved off the charts from their rd 1 form and the roosters have gone backwards a long way.
