Played the whistle? He hit him well and truly after the whistle had blown. The whole game stopped, Thompson was just standing there, Parker comes along and tries to put a shot on yet Thompson gets penalised for reacting.

I was at the game and didn't hear a whistle. I assume Parker hadn't either and was making sure Thompson didn't take off with the ball. Regardless, Thompson's reaction was over the top. He'd better start playing netball if he doesn't like being tackled.

Bit ironic seeing a Tits fan complaining about the refs after that display last night.
