I have a sneaky suspicion Eels will get a win here. They're shit but they're due.

Eels by 6.
What a call.

That call made with the voting in the poll going 7-14 against the Eels.

It's why I tipped the Eels. I had a gut feel his poor origin game would not be good for his fragile defense. Carney has been shit so far.
Then the above when the Eels were down 18-6.

I still knew to go with my gut instinct.
You beauty. Chalk up the 2 points.

Heard it here first.

Put ya pay on sharks people BM has spoken

Get that up ya you f**kheads.

As for the Sharks. They live and they die by the sword. The sword being the confidence rollercoaster Carney seems to live on.

Origin shook him and it affected him tonight and they lost the game.

They remind me of the Knights in Joeys last years. They won when Joey brang it, they didn't when he didn't.

They're no certainties to make the 8.

Why hasn't Hayne at 5/8 worked? He's a better 5/8 than anyone in the comp apart from Thurston, but only when he's wearing the #1 shirt.

Hayne simply refuses to put in any effort at all when wearing the number 6 jersey, that's why it hasn't worked,he wants to play number 1 and number 1 only

I reckon the players are probably now counting the days until Kearney is punted, so won't pull together when the going gets tough and the Sharks take the lead.

Cronulla 13+ :(.

I was dead wrong! The players did pull together at half time when the chips were down, and Kearney did get them to come out and play a better second half and they followed it through for the full 40mins.

Very inspiring performance, and very happy although I lost a point in my tipping comp! :D

I love how the commentators made the point - "Sandow couldn't resist the temptation" - the fg was utterly irrelevant but what you expect from the NRL's biggest f/g lover.

i know it wasn't relevant but it would have been just our luck that sharks scored 2 tries in the last minute haha

Only a moron would think that FG wasn't relevant. It put the game to bed. There are way too many spastics that frequent this forum.

mate at that point we were in front not only on the score board but momentum as well. Sharks wouldn't have been able to find anything to score points BUT it would've been just our luck that they did score those 2 tries IF Sandow missed that FG or didn't even take it.

So in the fact of me saying it wasn't 'relevant' was to do with how the game was going with all momentum in parras favour that's all i meant. obviously it sealed the win beyond any possible doubt for sure.
