Some pretty lopsided stats. Sharks made 744 m to Eels 312m, made 84 tackles to Eels 191. Eels only missed 12, not bad with so little possession, and made 1 line break to Sharks 2.

Sharks playing very professionally, safe, % football, not really letting Eels into the match. Possession is unlikely to be so 1 sided in 2nd half though, so Sharks need to defend better than they did when the Eels had their first (and only) real attacking set.

Thats a good assessment. My hope is that Parra run out of petrol with the amount of tackling they have done in the 1st half.

Put your hand up if you think Gallen will back off.........

Reckon he will be slightly pissed when pulled, Flanno will if in the bag.

Still 40 to go....

People whining about taking the two, go watch some games from the early 90s. Teams used to take the two at every opportunity.

Yeah, the last teams to play conservative, high defense, take any points on offer football were Manly, last year, Dragons in 2010, and Storm in 2009. Look where it got them.

Sharks shouldn't try it though, because they can't defend, only 2nd best defenders so far this year...

Eels have made the most of limited chances.

I hate refs calling players offside, always leads to holes.

Sharks poor start. Missed the kick to touch.

Sharks missed 2 tackles first half, already missed 6 in 2nd half. Need to sharpen up here.
