FFS his hand was never above the ball. It was always behind it and it could only have pushed it forward rather than grounding it.

No such thing as grounding or control anymore, it's all about separation. I agree it shouldn't be a try but on the way they rule on them these days it was a try.

That's the problem isn't it. In my ideal rulebook it wouldn't be a try, but from what we've seen this season there's no possible way that can be a no try.
