I thought Graham was a big loss. Still do now, he provides a lot in attack. Gallen is missed but workrate can be covered when you have guys like Smith, Gibbs and Ross. Frizell is a good young kid and a few others.

Carney, Robson and Graham are the secret to the Sharks success so it was definitely a gutsy win.

Thought Maloney and Locke were outstanding for the Warriors. If that was played across he ditch the Warriors would have won easily.

Yeah it is a loss but they were also playing a team that played on the Monday night before and are at an away stadium so things even out, but the commentators don't mention things like that.

It's not just tonight, just a general rant about something that annoys me in general lol. One thing that is unforgiveable though is something like our loss to the Broncos last week with half their team out.. now that is a time where it is embarrasing.

This is true I tipped the Sharks because I felt the Warriors short turn around and 2nd away game was more of a disadvantage...just.

Warriors were the better team no doubt. Carney went on a blitz and was the difference.

Might seem embarrassing but the Broncos have some gun non origin players. Their spine isn't affected at all by origin and guys like Alex Glenn, Jack Reed, Ben Teo and Josh McGuire are stars even if their profile isn't the highest.

Makes me feel a bit better (along with us missing our main organiser Pearce) but was still one we should have won... the joys of supporting the Roosters (every fan probably says that about their team though lol).

Carney was good in the first half, ordinary for the first 25 minutes of the 2nd and then won the game off his own back in the last 15.

Robson has surely proved me wrong this year. He is a tremendously calm player that plays very smart. Doesn't have the speed or flair that most top halves have but he surely has the footy brain.

What's with the Sharks picking up hacks from previous teams and turning them into solid players? Morris first now Robson.

Warriors are a major dissapointment in 2012. They have lost so many game they should have won

Can't believe we lost that. We never play for the full 80 we were the dominant side for the majority but went to sleep in the last ten minutes. The ref made sure we didn't have a shot at the end but it wasn't them who cost us the game it was our own complacency. f**k. Looks like the boys are still taking a while to adjust to the new coaching style. Hopefully we can scrape the 8 and make a run that's all I'm hoping for. f**k the Warriors are frustrating. Well played Carney and Maloney.

Great win - does that put us 6 clear of 9th?

Yep.

Have a bye next, so really need to win 7 of 10 to absolutely guarantee top 8 (but no top 8 cut off ever has been near 36), but realistically we win 4 of 10 we make the 8.

We play baby Broncos, Roosters, Dragons, Raiders, Panthers, Warriors then Knights in our next 7 games, so we really should shoot for 5/6 wins at least and top 4.

sharks were lucky tonight although the warriors were their usual diabolical selves, they have to stop giving away penalties at crucial times, its a shame because they are one of the most exciting teams to watch when they want to be

Of course we also did a lot to f**k it up ourselves and lost Matulino & Luck during the game, we can't seem to finish a game at the moment with the 17 that started, injuries are hurting us.

While I don't know what the penalty count was, we seemed to give away a shitload (Mateo especially seemed to be pinged a number of times) which I think was our real undoing.

Sure our injuries didn't help (losing Manu with Slimey replacing last minute, and Matulino & Luck during the game) but Sharks were also missing similar players.

Good on the Sharks for turning it up in the last 10 minutes (the Warriors kryptonite, surely every team knows this now) really frustrating game to lose.
