They had an aura. Teams were basically beaten before they played them for the exact reasons Poupou has highlighted.

I suspect a few more results to go well against us this year, but its the effort that concerns me.

You can't easily turn that mindset around.

I am almost certain we will flog the Ligers next week and then limp ourselves into 8th to get smashed in the first week of the finals.

It's too early to be worrying about finals.

It's round 2. The teams who play well this week are likely to have been gash last week, and this week's losers will probably win next week.

Any teams putting together a few weeks of solid form now could easily be struggling come round 20.

It's a long season.

Blame is on bad selections and bad attitude they are professionals but I see a backward step before a forward one will be made.

Scott in the centres a terrible selection why both signing Vidot to a three yr deal to stick him in the NSW Cup.

Fien shouldn't be in the team King is the future I know he hasn't played alot but now he's had 2 games in the NSW Cup give him a go.

Prior, Young and Hornby on borrowed time yon can't justify keeping them in the team if they aren't doing the job.

Missed Cooper and Hunt big time.

Prior is fine and dropping him would be stupid.

VIdot or chase for Scott. If you aren't going to play Scott in the back row, don't bother. Especially after tonights performance.

Having said that, Creagh was terrible too. Fein had one good tackle and was rubbish for the rest of the night.

Bulldogs work around the ruck was superb, Tolman,Eastwood,Graham,Kasiano gave both hookers plenty of options. Dragons were terrible but i think the Bulldogs made them look bad. Josh Morris should retire because i don't think he will play that well again.

One last thing the pitch was absolutely atrocious there were big divots coming out of the ground constantly and the pitch was covered in sand. It might end up being dangerous if they cannot improve the quality of the pitch.

I thought Hornby, Scott and Prior were great last week. A bit early to be death riding them.

Cooper is a tough guy to replace- has to weaken a defensive line putting a, erm, green, rookie in for a defensive specialist.

King should get a go- he has been good in his few appearances in the firsts.

Sounds like the Dragons were pretty poor, but they were OK last week.
I'm with Poupou Escobar; any team could still crash or soar between now and the finals.

Dogs blew the dragons off the park tonight ...good passing and solid defense ...well done . But i must say this was just what many predicted would happen post Bennett , ill discipline ,errors ...it's back to the future .

Does help when the Dragons can't hold onto the ball. The Dogs still have a long way to go before I will think they will be competing at the end of season.

Feels good to beat the Dragons after so long, it feels like a weight has been lifted.

Though I think we were very good, the Dragons made us look a lot better; so I don't think we should get our hopes up just yet as we still have a long way to go.

All in all I really liked our defence, the Dragons never looked like they would really break us and their only try came off a Morris miracle ball.

Heres hoping we keep up the intensity.

Woot woot !

Maybe Scott has Snowdenitis- signs early in the year with the Knights and plays like rubbish after that.

Bulldogs are scary this year I think they could push for a top 4 spot.

Still unsure about the Dragons but I'll say 10th-11th

Canterbury the better team on the night. We played like crap. Not sure you lot can take from that.

Still, it's early days.

I like the way the dogs are playing in the forwards , there go forward has improved out of site compared to last year, still to early to take much out of it though , We are still short a creative half.

Well done doggies far too good. That was the worst performance, and effort, I've seen from the Dragons since 08 which does not bode well for the season.

Haven't read the thread and don't really need to.

We were terrible, Dogs made us pay for how awful we were. Josh Morris looked good, although Hornby and Scott really didn't put up much fight.

Congrats Dogs fans, most certainly the better team on the night.

Saints fans we just witnessed our worst performance since Souths beat us in 2009.

I cant figure out why they hide Hornby out there in defense, Hornby was always a good defender ,

It is just f*cking strange, for his size Hornbag is a terrific defender.

Anyway, far, far too good Doggies. Willing to give my boys the benefit of the doubt, I just really hope this was a one-off performance. Could tell we were struggling from very early on, I suppose we've been spoilt for 3 years knowing our side would compete and turn up week after week. I really hope this hasn't changed after tonight or this season could reach the lows of 07. On current form, Tigers will deadset put 50 on us but I reckon we can bounce back next week
