James Graham mom again for mine. Maybe just cause I love him, but he played the full 80 I think, stand to be corrected on that one

that's the difference between a good football side....winning by 14 against a top 4 side without a halfback, and playing average for most patches of the game!

Some of the slowest play the balls all year tonight & the refs were very inconsistent in policing it.

The dogs played well but so did we. The final score flattered the dogs imo.

How in the hell did Inu's try get awarded? He dropped it twice!!!!

Loving that performance. Josh Jackson was close to the best on field. A fantastic performance.

LOVE reading all the butthurt people around these traps.

Any team can beat the dogs if they get refs that crack down on their third man in. flopping on the tackled player, slowing the shit out of it

Hayne & the little Mediterranean Descendant bloke were pathetic tonite

You forgot obstruction.

Some real bitter pricks in here tonight. Cowboys were the better team for most of the second half but didn't do what was ultimately needed. We were lucky with a couple of calls, but did enough to get the win. That's what counts.

Cowboys stepped it up in the second half but we went with them. Our defence was again key. Great performance from both teams.

you clearly have not met him in person.
Yeh Ive heard all this bullshit....but I wouldnt want to meet him...I'd like to meet a bloke I respect...a Brett Hodgson, Petero, Steve Mortimer.
Being a good sport is important to a lot of people....Ennis is a loser

I think we did step it up in the second half but I felt the dogs didn't go with us. We killed ourselves with mistakes.
The game was ours to win & couldn't do it. Then the dogs got some luck at the end.
Don't mistake this for bitterness. The dogs deserve to be where they are & in the end won ugly, a sign of a great team.
We struggle mentally in Sydney & I think in the end that's what hurt us tonight. That penalty against Tamou at then end is a prime example, stupid play.

Bulldogs just too good in the end. Despite being under all sorts they didn't crumble like the Cowboys did and concede three cheap turn overs in their own half.

Both Graham & Jackson were stand outs for me. James' ability to ball-play close to the line really makes him a weapon as it puts the defence in two minds and Josh's ability to sum up the play was beyond his experience.

Barba is like Jaws out there. You know he's lurking, somewhere in support and when he presents himself it's try time.

Yeah, Dogs were pretty lucky at times. I thought Inu lost it into Linnett but given current interpretations I can see why Hampstead went the way they did. Thought they were very fortunate not to concede some penalties or forward passes & I'd like to see a replay of the 'strip' penalty for clarity but really, it's spilt milk really.

Defence played a big difference too. Cows always looked vulnerable on the fringes, JT has always been soft in that department but Morgan was out of his depth at times too. His work in the lead up to Barba's first was very ordinary, just gave Reynolds all the space he needed to set Barba up.

Cows have plenty of things to like about their side but I still don't know if they have the weapons to challenge the form side in the finals. Front row, JT & Bowen combo can only take them so far.

Reckon it'll be very interesting to see how the Dogs respond to their loss. They strike me as a confidence side and if a side knocks them down a peg or two I don't think they'll recover.

More like you were pushed.
I'd put the cows down to beat you tossers next time

mate the cows have got excellent attack(i love watching them play) but their defence crumbles under pressure!

about the dogs being pushed, they let that happen to themeselves with some poor errors & bombed tries!

plus what other side goes as good without a half? they lost hodgkinson at the start, now keating & keep winning!

btw worry about your own team, even with your top 3 you can't win! you should be worried about the cows beating your boys in the finals! stick to your androtropy afl.

I agree! The Cowboys have good attack! I don't think you can say we crumble under pressure! We certainly defend better now then in the past!

Not too disappointed with that game!

We had our chances and just couldn't capitalize!

We will learn from that!

Not too fuss with the loss the Bulldogs can be a joy to watch. Cowboys put in a good effort but bad errors and silliness cost them the game and Bulldogs capitalize.
