Le sigh.

Was our game to lose at 14 nil and managed to do it.

Overall not a completely shocking game, gives me some hope of not losing by 40 next week.

Dogs just too good a side at the moment, weren't even on today but just have enough in the tank to turn it on when they need to.

Broncos showed some good signs out there, but needed to put on another try when they had all the momentum. Their failure to do so gave the Dogs a sniff and that's all they need.

Brisbane v Storm will be a cracker at Suncorp.

I'm pretty happy with the effort and the fact that there were promising signs for our attack in the first half. We just dropped too much ball in the end and got a little unlucky on a few calls.

Oh well. I'm confident that if we build on this performance we can at least beat the Panthers and get a top 8 finish.

Jackson and Taupau really stood up today, same with Tolman. Great defence in that second 40. But it's scary how many games Barba has won for us.

If anyone thinks the refs didn't give the Bulldogs a leg up against the Bronx today, they've got rocks in their heads

Will be interesting to heat the tripe Des comes out with this week to take the attention off his MP winning team. Surely he can't whinge about the refs this week given they pretty much handed the game to them on a platter......or could he?

Calls certainly didn't help the Broncos but can't place all the blame in them.

Dogs completing 16 sets in a row was the turning point.

It's a performance that would have won us any of our past 3 games, but we're still slumping and things just have a habit of going against us. Don't think we have anyway to flick a switch to beat Melbourne or Manly. Think our next hope for a win is against Penrith, and even then I'll be having flashbacks of 2003.

Not a fun time to be a Broncos supporter.

Refs certainly didn't cost us the game. They just didn't make it easy.
Brisbane had plenty of chances to win and simply aren't going good enough at the moment to do anything with those chances.

Hodges returning really helped us today, hopefully a couple of others can return and help turn things around.
