This is it, the final roll of the dice. If we can beat the Eagles at Brookvale, it should hopefully put us on a decent footing going into the finals.

If we lose, it is game over, and there will be one certain ranga Halfback who will be queuing at the local centrelink.

Broncos by 4 in a nail biter.

Eagles to win this and put the final nail in the Donkey's coffin.

Tough back up but the harder the task and the more adversity, the better Manly seem to get. They love the back against the wall scrap and knowing they can send the Donkey's off should be a little extra incentive.

From all reports the injuries are not that bad (bar Wolfman).

T Rex and Watmough to destroy them.

Manly by 8

Manly comfortably. Manly seem to be in the mindset that they got into a few weeks before the finals in both 2008 and 2011. They know exactly what is in front of them over the next 5 weeks and they know what they need to do to win. They're going to be very tough to beat in their final run at Brookie.

If Manly turn up close to their best I don't think there is anything that Brisbane can do to win this.

I'll be happy if we can make a good game of it.

Those are some big losses.
We would still field a team like this

1) B. Stewart
2) J. Taufua
3) J. Lyon
4) S. Matai
5) D. Whare
6) K. Foran
7) D. Cherry-Evans
8) J. Galuvao
9) L. Foran
10) B. Kite
11) A. Watmough
12) T. Williams
13) G. Stewart

14) D. Lussick
15) G. Rose
16) D. Harrison
17) V. Mauro

Hate to break it to some of you, but Brisbane can still drop this game and make the finals if they beat Penrith at Suncorp in the last round.

I expect a tight game. The last two weeks, they've been playing well enough to win, but lacking the composure at the death. Each week getting better. Could be an upset.

I hate to break it to you, but if the Donkey's lose this game their season is over whether they make the finals or not after beating the juggernaut of the Panther's in round 26.

Going into the finals with 6 losses in a row and one win over a bottom 3 team is a write off.

Still you would get to watch them in week 1 of the finals. And they could win Friday night so hope springs eternal.

In your opinion of course.

Regardless of whether they do anything in the finals, a loss on Friday night is not the end of Brisbane this year.

If (and with the injuries it probably is a big if at the moment..) Manly turn up and play 80 minutes of footy like they did against Newcastle, your season could be over at the end of that 80 even if you do beat Penrith.

I can't see it being a blow out like on Sunday. As I said, I expect it to be close, with a possible upset. The Storm game should have them fired up, leading 12-0 and then nearly taking the game back after copping that knock-on try.

Yep, Brisbane have been going pretty good lately, only just losing to the two top teams, we are going to have to be on our best game again to win this imo

No doubt we will need to play well. They are going well. My point was though, Newcastle were apparently in good form before arriving at Brookie last weekend too, with everything to play for. I think it will be a close game, but either team only needs to be off a bit and anything can happen.

King and Wolfy are confirmed out already.

lol I wouldn't take much notice of Newcastle.

We've been close on a number of occasions this year and I can't see this being any different. We'll go close, but not enough to win.
