Bulldogs fans will out number us as they do every year, no surprise. But I know a lot of Souths fans mostly the older ones who go to every game except this one. They stay away from the bulldogs game, due to the Behaviour of the dogs fans. Nothing worse than losing to the dogs and having the Lebanese section of the Bulldogs fans on the train shouting and carrying on. It definitely keeps a few Souths fans away which probably is the reason they out number us...
But now onto the crowd itself which I will be in attendance for, prediction 38,000, 17,000 Souths fans, 19,000 dogs and hopefully 2000 people from the Easter show who are neither fans of the two teams,
As a Souths fan, personally i would rather beat the bulldogs than any other team in the NRL, simply put, I hate the Bulldogs. There are normally good games between the two teams do hopefully this one is the same
I think the two hookers hold the key to this game, if Issac can get out Of dummy half and trouble the bulldogs forwards then we could get a roll on and give space to our halves and backs which is where we are most dangerous. Same goes for the Bulldogs, If Ennis starts dictating the play then I can see him putting barba and Pritchard into gaps all day long.
Whoever dominates out of dummy half will win the game, both attacks focus heavily through their #9.
Burgess is a big loss, yes. But hopefully Taylor will step up, with Crocker going to second row and Benny Lowe to Lock. Chris McQueen should be on the bench.
That being said, looking forward to an exciting game With a huge crowd.
