My personal favourite - Sandow owning lol@Ennis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgSBvUkqbLo
And you still lost that one 26-18 after leading 18-10.

But a little wanker who walked away from your club "owning" the player who's gone on to represent NSW and became club captain is obviously far more important than winning a game.

Maybe if Souffs concentrated on winning games instead of fights they'd have made the finals more often...
They're not at home dickhead. They'll be entering the Rabbitoh Fortress.
The ground is both our home grounds you f**king imbecile - you have "hosting" rights Friday, that's about it.

Bulldogs fans will out number us as they do every year, no surprise. But I know a lot of Souths fans mostly the older ones who go to every game except this one. They stay away from the bulldogs game, due to the Behaviour of the dogs fans. Nothing worse than losing to the dogs and having the Lebanese section of the Bulldogs fans on the train shouting and carrying on. It definitely keeps a few Souths fans away which probably is the reason they out number us...

But now onto the crowd itself which I will be in attendance for, prediction 38,000, 17,000 Souths fans, 19,000 dogs and hopefully 2000 people from the Easter show who are neither fans of the two teams,

As a Souths fan, personally i would rather beat the bulldogs than any other team in the NRL, simply put, I hate the Bulldogs. There are normally good games between the two teams do hopefully this one is the same :)

I think the two hookers hold the key to this game, if Issac can get out Of dummy half and trouble the bulldogs forwards then we could get a roll on and give space to our halves and backs which is where we are most dangerous. Same goes for the Bulldogs, If Ennis starts dictating the play then I can see him putting barba and Pritchard into gaps all day long.
Whoever dominates out of dummy half will win the game, both attacks focus heavily through their #9.

Burgess is a big loss, yes. But hopefully Taylor will step up, with Crocker going to second row and Benny Lowe to Lock. Chris McQueen should be on the bench.

That being said, looking forward to an exciting game With a huge crowd.

Souths by 2 :)

The same predictable line is trotted out about Bulldogs crowds every time - yet we're the club that averages the best in Sydney.

If you don't think every club has a knob element in their supporters base, think again.

Lol idiot. It's our home ground on Friday...the game is on Friday. That's all that matters.

When we play you next it'll be your home ground but this Friday it's the Rabbitoh Fortress.

I'm just telling it how it is my friend..
I know a lot of Souths who don't go to these games because of the Lebanese section. Fair statement..

No need to get so defensive, I was just stating the reasons as to why some fans don't turn up..
I have some mates who are dogs fans and I've sat with them at games, the majority are well behaved passionate fans, only a small bunch give the bulldogs a bad name.

Ennis is the biggest cat and grub in the game... picks on a player half his size, gets totally owned then backs away like the f**king pea-heart pansie that he is.
Not good enough to captain a girls netball team.

All those articles are from years ago. Canterbury has gone through a culture change since Greenberg took over, part of the reason why I think he's by far the best CEO in the game. I can't remember the last time I've had a problem with a Dogs fan.

Because I can afford it I pay for a very good seat whenever I go to an away game so usually I'm seated amongst Dogs fans in my Souths jersey. In the last 3 or so years I've never heard anything worse than the usual good natured banter.

Dogs fans have an unfair reputation based on stuff that happened years ago. IMO the reason they're stuck with their reputation while other clubs lose theirs with time is because of racism, either conscious or subconscious.

I've probably gone to every Souths-Bulldogs game in the last 5 years and haven't once had an incident.

There are plenty of Souths fan who stay away from this fixture. This isn't to be argued, it is a fact. Which is a great shame because their reticence is misguided in my opinion. I've never had an issue at a Dogs game and generally there is no problem at all. Hopefully we won't be outnumbered 2:1 like we usually are, but I think we will be.

As for the game - hard to pick. We'll miss Sam, obviously. But Reynolds and Keating are lavatory bowls. It might come down to a piece of individual brilliance.

So I compliment someone outside of Souths and you have nothing but sarcasm to say in reply. f**k off little man.

And SSTID if some of our fans don't show up because of biases they have based on things that happened years ago it's noones fault but theirs and reflects poorly on our club.

Nemesis, read the whole article and stop spoiling for a fight yourself.

It's only through morons like yourself who bring it up that this is even an issue.

As SSTID said earlier - the reticence of most Souths fans in not attending this game is very, very misguided.

Very, very misguided eh.... in whose opinion pea-brain?

Firstly, I didn't raise the issue in this thread and secondly, you're the moron who's misguided and in denial. Your fans have been in the press just about every season because of their bad behaviour.
Its a culture that's been ingrained at your club for many years now and being a long-time ticketed Souths member, I've witnessed the bad behaviour of your fans several times at games.

Are you suggesting that all this shit is a beat up and that Bulldogs fans have been unfairly targeted by the media? lol

You can guarantee there will be a much larger Police presence at Friday's game that wouldn't otherwise be there, simply because the Bulldogs are playing.

I suggest you read the article... I've read it and many more like it over the years, I've also seen their behaviour 1st hand. I applaud Greenberg for his efforts to curb their trouble making ways, however, you're delusional if you think there's no longer a problem.

It will take Greenberg a few more years to rid your club of this scourge.
