Good game.

Havent been able to watch Storm games this year, cause of the lack of competion have made them boring, but that was a great watch

Dogs played very well, just needed that 5th tackle option. But the forwards were outstanding, and Melbourne's goal line defense was impressive.

That was an excellent game of footy.
Bulldogs lost no respect losing that game of footy.
One of the better games of the season so far.

All bias for Canterbury aside, that was a bloody good game of footy to watch. Held in the balance until that last minute.

Screwed by the ref and ourselves in this match. It was there for us to win. We attacked so many times and Melbourne just had to defend all of that second half. They defended brilliantly, we defended very well but unfortunately we had NOTHING in attack.

Referees were shocking IMO, mainly Barba being taken out and Melbourne knocking on in the lead up to Hoffman's try. All of the none calls especially, but that's not the reason we lost.

But all in all, if we can improve our attack we will become a force and I'm sure it's something we'll do when we get more into the rhythm and in particular when Hodkinson comes back.

A big round of applause for both teams. IMO tonight showed the Bulldogs will be a force this year and that Melbourne are a huge chance of going the year undefeated on their amazing defence alone.

the dogs need to get frank involved a lot more, especialy on try scoring opportunities. they had so many chances in the 20! big frank & barba should be wreaking havoc together!

imo they need lafai in the side, excellent attacking player. have frank attacking on both sides. they'll be a lot better side with hodkinson back!
