sharks have a tough run home

rd20 raiders (H) WIN
rd21 panthers(H) WIN
rd22 warriors (A) LOSS
rd23 knights(A) 50/50 could go either way depending on the knights attitude could be still hunting a top 8 spot
rd24 rabbitohs (H) LOSS
rd25 storm (A) LOSS
rd26 cowboys(H) LOSS

if it goes like that the sharks will end up on 29 or 31 points maybe finish 6th 7th or even 8th obviously this could go the other way and then they will be in great shape for the semi's but i just don't see this happening. it's a bit like the cowboys last year started great and faded at the end of the year too finish 7th and get knocked out week one ... none the less it's been a good year for the sharks

Well sure, if we lose those last 3. Since we beat the Storm and Cowboys (and Warriors) already and lost to Souths on goal kicking after Gallen went off injured I'd hardly say we are certs to lose those games.

Raiders are no easy beats though, Knights beat us already, and we just beat Panthers, so there's no way we can bank on those points.

Still, you have us winning 2 or 3 of our last 7, when all year, even when in injury and Origin chunks of the season, we have not done that badly. That's predicting quite some fade.

If we win 4 of those 7 we finish on 33 and probably 5th, playing 8th to stay in the finals. If we win 5 we are probably top 4 and on a roll having beaten some good teams (again). I'm an optimist, I'll say the latter is more likely than your hypothesis :D

Can confirm the supporter bus curse has struck again.

Dragons bus broke down en route to Canberra. Canberra won.

Manly bus broke down yesterday en route to Newcastle. Newcastle won.

Sharks bus just broke down today en route to Wollongong...

Damn it, that seals it, dragons will win hey.

If they don't the Souffs supporters will be giving them hell all week now.

Quoted for lol's.

The supporters bus continues.

Good win by the Dragons. Sharks never truely looked like taking the game back no matter how much Gould kept harping on about it.

Well, Dragons scored when given chances, Sharks didn't, that's the story. Sharks attack last 2 weeks has been poor when attacking the line, not good coming to the finals. Sharks forwards doing an excellent job without their two best. Carney better, still rocks and diamonds, Robson needed a bit more this game.

Dragons had more composure when it counted, Rein and Morris were great, Cooper made some great tackles when it counted, Dragons season continues to live. Dragons again had great defence, looked better without Soward in attack, Stanley missing must have hurt (but it kept Rein in the game longer and that has to be good).

Dragons the better team, and I'm gutted to not win in two matches, and our halves didn't show enough, but I'm still not upset with their efforts, still down on troops, off a Monday game, an intercept and a dodgy try to the Dragons. Sharks need to improve but still going OK.

The one big positive from today.

Stoked with the win against a quality opponent but still plenty of work to do if we are to knock off Souths next weekend. Mitch Rein is in terrific form, hopefully Soward will be right for Saturday as well.
