Jeez looks like the loss of Slater is hurting more than anyone expected.

I think they'll be right when he comes back but they have been poor by their standards regardless the last few weeks.

A high for Parra this season.

the craziest thing was tab offering 1.40 for parra once they were out to a 10 pt lead with 8 mins to go lol seriously?? the storm looked highly unlikely the entire game to break through. im sure a few people jumped on that :) (although having said that the final few mins was heart attack time lol)

Thanks Melbourne, fill them up with confidence why don't you.

Don't think I've ever seen a side so badly beaten on the stats sheet win before, so well done Parra.

I still believe that Melbourne will come good with the return of Slater. Or even finding some way to get Widdop back into the halves might help.

That was terrible from Storm...Widdop desperately needs to get back to the halves to give the team some cohesion.

Slater should be back next week to add pace out wide when on attack and stiffen the defenec but if I was Bellamy, the likes of Lowrie and even Proctor need to be put on notice that their efforts are not good enough.

Even Bromwich is not running hard like he did not last year.

Are they in a slump or is it the fact that Bellamy cannot formulate a game plan with this fairly average squad outside of the big three ?.

A team should not have to rely on one player THAT badly. I can't remember any time when the Broncos lost 4 straight while missing Lockyer (I'm sure my memory is at fault there...).

Gees up the Eels ahead of next week against the Broncs but no Hayne will help us.

lol awesome! i was stupid enough to take the line at the beginning -12.5 points. so when i could redeem it with 1.40 i put in $100 lol so *phew*

i think ill stay away from backing the storm from behind for quite a while hehe :D (on the flip side i backed the knights! lol so at 18 nil...i was spewing.) all in all a good night :)

The storm are really two players down though. Slater at the back and Widdop at 6. Bellamy has weakened two positions trying to cover for 1. If Slater is not fit by next week he has to put Widdop back at 6 and pick another fullback. The Storm have lost too much direction.

Exactly...They need to shift O'Neill to fullback if he is fit and bring Widdop back into five eighth.

Letting Luke Kelly go to the Eels when they did was an unfortunate decision.

Ben Hampton is waiting in the wings for next season which will be interesting.

We havent won 2 in a row since 2010. You lost on Friday night.

You will win pretty easily on Monday - we were always going to be hard to beat after the 'coach sacked - team wins next game' rule.
