No i heard the bit where he admitted he had NFI of the capacity of the stadium, which in itself is pathetic this day and age.

I agree the refereeing was abysmal, particularly the Slater obstruction.

It should have been a penalty try and 10 in the bin. The bin is used for professional fouls, penalty tries are awarded when a player deliberately fouls out an opponent to prevent a try being scored. I dunno how much more blatant Slater could have been short of informing the ref of his intent before plowing into the pursuing NZ player.

Glad we won, but honestly at that point I turned the TV off and went to find something else to do. Slater and his bloody brain explosions...

Pathetic?

Mate, get over it. It was a one off remark, who really cares...?

Pretty sure you can't have both, 10 in the bin for the professional foul, however if the PF leads to a penalty try, then the the penatly try is the penalty to the defending side.

I'm not sure if this is the correct rule, but its always the way I've interpreted it.

Pretty good preformance last night. We were comfortably the better team for most of the game until the Johnson try made it closer then it should have been but we were good enough to finish off the game.

They definitely shouldn't get rid of the mid-year test match IMO. Leave it alone ARL Commission!
