On the Krisnan Inu benefit of the doubt try: It wasn't a one off decision. Those tries have been given for two years. Personally, it was more doubt that I like and I wouldn't have awarded it, but it was only knocked out due to Quinn. Halatau then dives on it. It was a try anyway.

Dogs showed up, Storm didn't. VR turned the game around and Dogs took advantage, defended well and got the points. Barba is slippery, elusive and Storm had jelly for arms - didn't seem to try when their game plan must've been to shut him down surely?
Not sure it would've been the result at another time & place but the points went to the better team today.

Re: The referees.. Anyone doubting they were on the Storms side are f**king clueless merkins. There were 4 penalties that they made up to hand the Storm chances. At one stage, Cummins answered Ennis' please explain with "I know it's unlucky but that's how I've called it, sorry mate"

The match was decided by the Bulldogs fantastic form and brilliant performance, NOT the officials.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

And people say I'm deluded. Jesus Christ mate are your eyes painted on?

The game was decided by Bulldogs defence, nothing else.

Not even the best troll attempts by you, skeepe, will change facts.

People don't say you're deluded.. EVERYONE says you're deluded..

BTW.. We received 4 penalties and Melbourne received 8. Tell me again how the referees were on our side.

jeebus.

I don't buy into the referees being on anyone's "side", but that post is more biased than anything Timmah has managed in the last 5 years.

8-4 kind of speaks for itself.. The referees weren't on anyone's side, poor wording from me, but if you want to throw accusations around they seemed to favour Melbourne no doubt.

I think the point trying to be made there is that you couldn't say Melbourne didn't have a chance - they dominated the penalty count and had endless repeat sets on our line. Our defence won the day.

Perhaps, however it didn't help that when they did breach your defence they were incorrectly denied a fair try. It also didn't help that the Bulldogs were incorrectly awarded two tries that should never have been given.

I could have lived with the Storm obstruction/not obstruction try.. But we were given TWO tries you say?

Explain them, please. This'll be great.

So you can say without any shadow of a doubt, that Melbourne would have won had the video referee decided differently?

You're an utter, utter imbecile.

LOL you're an idiot. When a player obstructs the opposition a penalty is blown. Tolman was FORCED to go around a melbourne player who was offside rather than cutting him off directly.

Correct call.

The Storm demonstrated to their fellow top 4 clubs today that they are very much beatable when missing one of their trio of stars. The Broncos and Sharks had better take notice if they want to beat the Storm come finals time.

Settle down Timmah...you won...get over it.
Skeepe's the one who can't accept facts... I'm just outlining them for his docile brain.

Of course, the result came down to what the Storm lacked, not what the Bulldogs offered
