Credit to the knights that you won.

You still had to show up to win, but dont get delusional into thinking you played a quality side tonight.

Physically the dogs might have been at full strenght, but psychologically they were brain dead.

Your real final footy starts and ends next week against the Storm.

Good luck and enjoy your extra week of football.

Point taken but the thing that gives me confidence is the character of the side. To be defending our own line for what felt like the whole first 20 minutes, concede 6 to a Bulldogs side who had completed near 100%. Then get down the other end and be in front 10-6 after 27 minutes. That is real finals footy.

The Dogs weren't "quality" because they simply weren't allowed to be.

Congrats knights, and good luck

Hard to judge how good you were as our attack was disjointed and half hearted

We really need to clean some of the egos and laziness out of the club. It ruined the year. Des, I hope you have a plan

Cheers,

Great to see the Bulldogs out. At least we won't have to put up with the braindead Bulldogs fans at any more games this year. What happened supercoach De$$ie?

We were quality in the first 20. Some of the best footy we've played all year. Then we just gave up.

I never saw the Bulldogs give up. They did however have to start pushing passes to play a bit of catch up in the last 20 min and of course had two players who attempted to milk absolutely everything instead of playing the game. That was their biggest problem. Newcastle defended their way to victory and then put some points on when they had strangled the life out of the opposition.

Don't think it was a case of giving up, just more so being lost for ideas in attack once you couldn't break our line after six repeat sets.
