Can't see Wests winning or even coming close, our pack is way too light -Galloway. It just won't work in the modern game, you need big powerful forwards which the Knights certainly have.

Hopefully Bennet has worked on his hopelessly slow service from dummyhalf. He's a good defender though which will fit in well with the Knights.

You'll almost definitely find that Costigan and Rochow are permanent fixtures in the front row henceforth. 1 utility, 2 props, 1 back row... pretty standard rollout.

Although the Knights are also understrength without Buderus and Tahu (I don't rate Waddell at all and it's awful luck Hilder got injured the same time as Bedsy) I still think/hope they'll be too strong for the tigers.

I would have had Cuthbertson over Costigan but apart from that (and Waddell/Quinn being in the side due to injury) I like the look of the side a lot.

I think the Knights will realise they just have to get through this game before Tahu and Buderus return, a win will bring alot of confidence against Manly. Strong line up even with the 2 injuries, if trial form is anything to go off I think the Tigers will struggle to score points.

Wests backline is just lacking any inspiration. On form only one of the back five should be a walk up start. If Marshall continues to play sideways and run his centres out of room we will make Quinn look like Meninga in his prime.

Backrow can hold the fort, Bachanan has earned his call up but a lot will depend what we get out of the bench.

Could be a long night for the Tigers.

In the end it will come down to ruck control and reff interpretation as it always does this early in the season
