I thought the disallowed try killed our momentum. We started strong in the opening sets and like most weeks where we're able to score the opening points, we have a greater sense of momentum and it usually pays off. No point sitting here and going over what could have been, however, it's frustrating to get another dud Video Ref call against us.

Unlike the Sharks game I don't think some of the blatantly poor calls against us cost us the game. I think they contributed, but along with suffering the series injuries to Boyd and Uate (a heap more appeared to be playing the second half injured too), some very lucky ball-bounces to the warriors, and us doing some stupid things due to the pressure we were under like dropped balls and poor decisions in defence on the line.

From the outset it was obvious the Warriors had bounced back from last week. Well done to them on their much needed victory.

Despite the loss I was actually extremely happy with the effort the boys put in today. When everything was going against us we still kept showing up until the end. A while ago we would have put the heads down and lost by 50-60 with all of that going against us (like the Manly game).

Oh well, just have to move on. We can't take a trick with injuries though. Get a week closer to getting Smith, Scott and Bedsy back but lose Boyd and Uate. Gagai and McKinnon (although that may have been a cramp) looked to have picked up injuries too.

It was blatant. There's two referees and two touchies and they all miss it. And then you have last night when SBW throws a beautiful pass a metre back and gets called for a forward pass. So frustrating.

And then you have two guys in the box who disallow a clear try to the Knights for obstruction. Officals everywhere and they're all f**king blind apparently.

And Skeepe you're kidding. The Warriors recevied 12 clear points from the refs. A clear Knights try disallowed for a phantom obstruction and a clear forward pass for the last try.

Forget whatever else happened, that's a 12 point headstart right there.

 Thankyou! Some people are way too blinded by their bias...

Come on man... COME ON!
no one buys that and you shouldnt be selling it... he is hands down the most biased colour commentator RL has ever seen.

For some unknown reason, his voice sounded very high pitched today.

Nevertheless, such a shame Sky Sports can't find another colour commentator to complement Vossy, and that Vossy has to put up with pricks like him who say "Oh (regarding the forward pass on the last try), we'll just say it's the camera angle". Yeah right! Can't he just say the pass for more than a metre forward??

Surely there are a hell of a lot better commentators in NZ than Halligan. I'll never understand how he's managed to hold his position there at Sky since 2001 is beyond me.

We didn't get the rub of the green ref-wise today but we still should have executed better, particularly in the second half. Turning point was middle of the second half when we were making breaks at will but couldn't capitalise.

Warriors were always going to be up for the game, and always looked dangerous on attack even if their D is still very suspect. Congrats Warriors fans.

Oh, and regarding my summation of today's game:

Knights very unlucky with those forward passes but moreso, that absolute joke of a video ref decision regarding that disallowed try. As usual, the refs are still coming up with incompetent decisions. Be interesting to see how Daniel Anderson talks his way out of explaining the justification of this incident. I'm still baffled how the video ref overruled that decision. One of the worst video ref decisions this year (up with the Wade Graham try several weeks ago, which was also against us).

Our attack fell to pieces when Boyd and Uate both went off injured. I hear that Uate was still under an injury cloud before today's game. If that was the case, he shouldn't have played. Naiqama should've been picked instead, had an outstanding game against the Dogs last week. Very unlucky to fall agonisingly short in the 2nd half with the Gagai and McManus no-try opportunities. Always knew the Warriors would come out firing after last week's embarrassment vs Penrith. No way were they going to lose by 56 pts two weeks in a row, and it was always going to be a tough game.

Very tough game against Souffs next week, even with Inglis out. Just hope we don't get hammered by the Bunnies.

Heck, give me Brent Todd or one of the Iro brothers. They worked very well alongside Graeme Hughes.

As I said, Vossy is one of the best callers going around in the game and then sad to see him partnered alongside and have to be interjected by a commentator who has no idea what he's talking about, let alone has a pea-heart voice.

The disallowed try wasn't a try. Boyd caught the ball behind Mason and continued running around him. No Try any day of the week. Correct call.

c.f. Every comment you've ever made about Manchester United... :whistle

Like the time I rubbished the Chelsea- Man United rivalry and said that while Liverpool v Man United was a clash between two teams with a long, proud history, Man United- Chelsea is a clash between a team with a long, proud history and a team trying to buy one?

:p

Pretty disgusting that a hopeless team like Plodcastle are inside the top 8 whilst a good team like the Raiders who have matched it with the very best are outside the top 8

You disgust me Plodcastle

The Chel$ki rivalry is real. On our end, we've had a poor record against them since the bought their way into the title race. Also, I think the clash of personalities with Sir Alex and the Special One helped. Once their money dries up, we won't give a shit about them anymore, whereas we'll always hate you Scouse bastards no matter how shit you are. So I guess you're right.

Also, lol@Newcastle. :p

I'm pretty sure it was disallowed because Mason clipped Johnson.
