I got on the Knights @ 2.65 for this one! That was Saturday morning of course.

Presumably it's the Warriors paying $2.65 now.

So as the teams currently stand you've got:

Warriors 2 wins, 8 losses, -133
Knights 6 wins, 4 losses, +72

Then if you put the home record of the Warriors up against the away record of the Knights you get this:

Warriors 2 wins, 3 losses, -9
Knights 1 win, 3 losses, -41

Crazy contrast there and it shows how vital a home ground advantage is here. It won't just be a bounce back factor that is on the Warriors side but the fact that they have been competitive at home all year anyway. Two of those losses at Mt Smart were by 2 points to the form teams in the comp at the moment, the Roosters and Bunnies. Shows the huge affect those big away losses have had on their record at present.

All this points to such a danger game for the Knights. On one hand I am going in confident because of how well we played against the Bulldogs but on the other I know that we may struggle going on what has happened so far this season.

That home stat is an interesting one.

I think you"ll still flog us though. The Warriors are not in the right frame of mind at moment.

Might as well kick 'em while they're down.

Yeah I thought it was too, going on that the Warriors away form means nothing and the Knights home form means nothing in this one. Will be interesting to see how it plays out on Sunday mate

The games against Panther/Eels really blow out that for and against more than anything.

Warriors have been more than competitive against Roosters, Bunnies, Storm, Canberra, Dogs and probably should have picked up at least a couple of wins in that grouping.

Having said that, I have a bad feeling that all of those close last 15 minute losses may have knocked the belief/enthusiasm out of the team and the Panthers game was a sign of things to come.

Wouldn't be putting money anywhere near the Warriors right now.

I am gonna miss my first home game is 5 years.
Can't stomach anymore after seeing the players grinning like idiots on the field at full time after contributing to the Warriors worst loss EVER.
Going to stay home and watch Mark Hunt at UFC160.

Knights in a flogging. Warriors have given up.

True. My team does have a shaky record in NZ. If we're complacent in this game and expect the Warriors to just fall over we'll get bloody smashed. Shaun Johnson is still a very good halfback and a game changer despite his teams average form.

Must win game for the Knights.

Imagine the trolling their fans will cop if they lost to the lowly, lowly warriors.

As many penalties as Lowrie gives away, he does do a lot of defensive work. I think he'll be missed, but I think Warriors will get a close win on the back of a freakish try or some dodgy calls.

Either that or Newcastle plays like they did last week and wins by 40 points, but since when do they play consistently? At least with The Warriors you know what you get.

If we find consistency, then we'll beat them. Even if we don't play as well as we did against the Dogs, just not as bad as we had done in the weeks prior against Raiduhs and Sharkies.

Would be great to get a cracking win over the Warriors though to take into the game against Souffs. Gives us the confidence to expose them :D
