As for Carney...he should have stood up and led from the front in Gal's absence and once again this did not happen. This proves that he is not SOO standard as he does not thrive in high pressure games IMO.

Not quite fair. Shocker game tonight but he's been the standout for the last month without Gal, and if I recall Cronulla beat Melbourne without Gallen once last year as well.

Good point...but he just does not seem to have the presence of the likes of Cronk, Reynolds or Maloney that gives you some confidence that he can lead a team from the front when they are behind in a game.
