Let us back after it was over?

So if that final kick doesn't go out and we magically score (remember Souffs against you last year?)... the game was actually over and it wouldn't have counted?

You pointed out how easily you guys scored the last two trys. Are you saying the score at the time had no influence on the defence or mindset of our players? really? We were by far the better team. Are you trying to dispute that?

We were also missing our star centre and one of our starting halves, and our best front rower got knocked out in the first half.

Two points in it... I'd suggest you guys got away with it in the end given how easily we posted those last two tries.

Were you born stupid or is it something you have developed over time? Your frontrower was injured by a good shot by a rookie frontrower. The score line flattered what is a pretty ordinary bulldog team who may or may not scrape a top 8 place.

Hargraves took an early plea specifically so he could square off against the fat snitch Rose in this game. He is filthy on Rose for running his mouth in the papers like a bitch instead of leaving it on the field like a man.

Expect the tubby bastard to be adding an extra large brown polka dot to those ridiculous grandma panties he wears

The dense prick will probably do it again and miss another 6 weeks.

I can't wait for JWH's first hit-up and first tackle.

It's gonna be awesome.

Catai will be running in the other direction like he did after Morley squashed him.

Matai was about 12 at the time. Good, tough Roosters forwards testing themselves against centres. Impressive.

Not just centres.

He flattened one of your forwards the tackle before.

Look I actually admire the tough brand of football Manly play. But Catai is a flat out merkin of the highest order.

Always has been. His injury feigning is the stuff of legend.

This thread has been awesome so far!! Love it. Should be a great game.. Shame about the scheduling again but at least our Origin boys can have a longer rest.

Yeah, nailed King. I remember it well. Pretty sure that was the game Georgie Rose scored a decent solo try and Manly won reasonably comfortably?

I'm surprised you dislike Matai so much considering you'd be a big Morley fan. Both are/were devastating when they get/got their hits right, but on the flip side when they get/got it wrong it looks/looked bad, hence the hate from opposition fans for each of them. Unless it's purely because you're a spinal specialist who has examined Matai and have discovered he's faking his nerve damage in his neck/shoulder?

It wasn't just a decent try... it was flat out embarrassing!

As I recall he got the ball on about halfway, beat 3-4 horrendous tackle attempts, then RAN AROUND the fullback and scored under the sticks. It was worse than the infamous Danny Wicks try

I was actually cursing Morley after that game because I'd turned up fully expecting an ass whooping... then he goes and smashes 2 blokes into orbit and makes me think we actually stood a chance.

I don't mind Matai. He sails close to the wind and has the occasional brain snap, but he always does it when simply trying to play the game hard. His suspensions are always for high shots and other incidents where he simply went in trying to smash someone with a legal hit and got it wrong (as you say, similar to the Morley or even Hargrave mould).

He is a far cry from the true grubs of the game like Smith, Myles, or Luke. Those cats go in to intentionally hurt blokes using techniques completely outside the game (grapples, arm bars, cannon ball tackles etc).

Now, with all that lovey dovey agreement out of the way, f**k manly

Nice to see an unbiased opinion on Matai.

I'll respond with a f**k the Roosters some time after tonight. Hoping the Roosters boys blitz it tonight, and then get rested on Monday night.

Is Maloney definitely out over his fractured eye socket?

Him out and Snake back?

Could be trouble

Go the Sea Eagles! If the Prince of Brookie makes his return the pretty boys from Bondi will have no chance.

Manly by 10.
