Yep, this is why I loved Penrith before the year started. Just a great group of players and a great coach. In 2 years this time will be perennial top 4.

We were a decent defensive team, don't know what has happened on the last few weeks. Hopefully this is the death knell for Cartwrong soon.

I tiped em to make the eight this year, I reckon they'll win a comp within 3 or 4 seasons

As Melbourne begin their decline out of the top 4 in the coming years I reckon Penrith will be the team that replaces them.

The only concern I have about the Panthers longterm is Soward. I don't think that was the right signing. He will need to turn it around big time.

Didnt he get a extension recently, or on a long term deal ?
In 2011 they gave Cartwright an extension till the end of 2016. They haven't made the finals since.

Gordon/Mead/Don/Zillman...there is no worse collection of wingers and fullbacks than what the Tits have.
