Not the way they played tonight.

They looked like a team with a ton of talent but no coaching direction. Which is what they were. A bit of a rabble, but still potent, especially when throwing the ball around that much.

Most had them as top 4 a month ago

All those criticizing the crowd need to have a good look at what was going on tonight out at Homebush. They had a Springsteen concert on at Acer and half the precinct is currently closed down so that the Easter show can be set up. Place is a total shit fight at the moment. Took me forever to get in and out tonight. Wouldn't blame people for not making the effort as it really is a bit of a nightmare there right now.

Scrappy old game but you'll take those two points anyday.

Gotta laugh reading through the pages. The deathriding never gets old.

We were absolutely insipid in attack but won - I'll take a win where I leave thinking we should've lost over a loss where we dominated the game any day of the week. Issac Luke still spending long stretches of the game on the sideline still has me scratching my head though.

Have to chuckle at the people who think this game somehow means Souths suddenly aren't good. Cronulla played us tough like they always do and are one of the best 5-6 teams in the comp. AND as I said, we played awfully. And still won.

Defense was great though.

Congratulations to Souths on the win. Maybe I am wrong as I was doing some reports on the computer while half watching the game but it seemed to me that the 5th tackle options of Souths were more limited than round 1. Is that because Sam was missing?

We certainly missed him when we needed someone to punch through the middle and get some quick play the balls. No doubt the Sharks negated a fair bit of that, which then got our guys trying to offload in traffic and that consequently caused a stack of errors.

It's not just thread, apparently after only 2 rounds every team except Melbourne and Manly are already 'pretenders'. Some people never seem to learn when it comes to March/April premiers.

Seems Reynolds reinjured his head or something of the sort, as he went quiet after starting the game on fire
