With your differential you would have been 5th if you won. Now you're 8th and maybe 9th by the end of the road. Single points from draws are more valuable to teams with bad for and against.

That's exactly what he was saying. The knights had a fantastic F/A so a draw is pretty much the same as a loss (obviously not exactly the same but close to it).

The draw hurts the knights if other teams around them win.

If we (the sharks) win today, we stretch our lead to effectively 2 wins in front, whereas before it was only 1 win due to the knights far superior +/-.

I am still not certain how people misinterpreted this post.

A draw may as well be a loss. If puts you compete games behind teams around you.
