I was fine with the decision from the refs re Matai's try because they made the ruling correctly with the guidelines. But then to see them over turn that Williams try is an absolute disgrace. The videos refs from this game shouldnt be in the NRL again this season, in any capacity.

Exactly. Regardless of whether is was a try or not the video was inconclusive. The call shouldve reverted to what the ref on field ruled, which was a try.

I think one thing that would help the game out is if, like the NFL, they tell the crowd and the TV audience why a review has been ruled the way it is. I'm sure we wouldn't get as many fan blow ups if a video ref was able to point out the camera angle that showed the reason they made the decision with a quick explanation. I honestly believe one camera angle showed the Williams decision was spot on.
