Kennedy will play tonight, which is some much needed size for this clash.

I've had this game bookmarked since the draw was announced. These matches are always massive, even when we're only playing for two points. The fact that the MP is also on the line just amplifies the excitement.

Good luck Roosters, hope we have a match that justifies the hype, a Souths win and no injuries.

Hope to see you again in a few weeks time, playing for an even bigger prize.

Heading down to Sydney for a mates 40th and he hates all sports so I figured its a no go. His wife rings and says she's booking tix for tonight if you want to go, seeing as your down here! Nekkminnit I'm going!

Can't see us winning tonight but I at least hope the boys show the fighting spirit that befits this game. Here's hoping no injuries for both sides and for the love of rugby league, can the refs stay the f**k out of it!

I must be the only roosters fan on earth that gives us a chance tonight.

I know we are rightful outsiders due to injuries but FFS we aren't that far off them. Whats more I don't appreciate all the wrist-slitting pessimism flying about from easts fans!

Ultimately as long as we put in a proper effort to get ready for the finals then I think the win doesn't really matter.... But I'll be buggered if that will be worth a toss come kick off!

That's more like it.

I can't comprehend how roosters fans are almost conceding before a ball is kicked.

It's 1 V 2 FFS, injuries or no injuries.

I agree the Roosters should be well in this, all this posturing just sounds like you guys are covering your asses in case you do lose, but having it so you can claim bragging rights if you win with an understrength team. Nobody missing is integral to your chances

If you don't think Cordner, LOD, and RTS are integral to our chances, then you haven't watched any of our games this season. RTS leads the team in linebreaks, LOD would be invaluable starch against the Burgii, and Cordner is just a f**king gun.

Despite this, I won't feel any better about losing because of those players being out. I don't care how much finishing first "doesn't matter", losing the the old enemy ALWAYS f**king matters.

Furthermore I'm not going to try and use our injuries as some get out of gaol clause to try and cheapen the tremendous effort it would have taken by Souths to win the minor premiership.

..... and now that all that nice lovey dovey crap is out of the way, f**k souths, and GO EASTS

The Roosters fans displaying all the fake-pessimism will be the same Roosters fans bleating the loudest should they win tonight. HATE those types of fans. Be confident beforehand, or don't be cocky after.

Time to head off. Hopefully we win so when I get home, I can read 20 pages of skeepe and co. having a collective brain aneurysm.

Not wrist slitting here but definitely pessimistic. This would have been an epic encounter with a full strength Chooks running out but i fear Souffs will be too big, too strong, too fast. 32 -12
