For the first time in my life, I wished a Manly victory to hurry up and get it over with. Roll on full time. A dismal spectacle from both teams and the refs.

It wasn't the Tigers night. Manly weren't great but they defended really well and the last 2 trys blew the score out. At 14-0 if the Tigers could have jagged a try it would have given them a sniff but once the score got to 20-0 the Tigers players heads dropped.

A few thoughts.....

Tigers

Taking Farah off was a bad call. They missed his leadership and creativity in the middle.
Tedesco looks good and should be the starting #1.
Blair offers very little for what he cost and Anasta needed to get much more involved.
The Tigers look better when they stand deep and give their centres early ball, not much of that last night.

Manly

Good to see King back, he was strong.
They are still really missing Glen Stewart but Tom Symonds has been terrific. He's a starter...... no question.
Overall the defence has improved a lot on last season. To keep both the Knights and Tigers to nil is testament to that.
